Wesley Hotel, Oak Bluffs

i liked nothing about my stay. When i first walked into my room there was a smell that made me gag. After leaving the room for a couple of hours, i left the air on but it only made it worse.i couldnt possibly sleep in the room, My family and i had to sleep in our friends' room who were with us. There was seven people in the room. It wasnt just the smell, there was also holes in the wall along with bugs. they had no satisfaction for us after all we went through. They we rude and unwelcoming. They didnt even say the were sorry for what had happened. It was the worst hotel i had ever stayed in especially for the price of almost 300 dollars. lastly, you could compare that hotel to sleeping in a mcdonalds bathroom.

From the time we entered the room it was all bad, the room was old and very uncomfortable. Hospital bathrooms are better than this one. Although it was clean, it left alot to be desired. A/C was missing a knob, one of the two lamps did not work. The bed linens were old, pillows were flat. The free coffee in the morning was terrible. the folks at the front desk were NOT helpful ever.

My husband and I took a getaway weekend to this hotel many years ago. It remains as one of our all-time favorite vacations. You can sit on the front porch in a giant rocking chair and eat donuts and sip coffee in the fog while watching the harbor activity. The rooms are sort of grandma-ish (to quote my teenage daughter) but they seem very suitable for the island atmosphere. Loved it!

I have stayed at the Wesley twice over the last few summers and enjoyed the experience both times. Great location and the people were very polite.
