It was more expensive than I had planned on, but they had a great free breakfast, including lots of cereals and pastries, not just your basic stale bagel and coffee. I was glad they had a variety of stuff, and the staff was very friendly. They rooms were really clean and neat.
I was told I would be in a non-smoking room but I ended up being in a smoking room which upset me a little. Not only is smoking unhealthy and disgusting, but it ruins the stay for anyone who stays after you, so I didn't appreicate being in a smoking hotel room.
I liked the indoor pool and the enclosed hallways. Enclosed halls always make me feel safer for some reason. I didn't notice any security guards whereas Motel 6 always has security guards and cheaper prices and are just as clean, so I will probably stay there from now on and not at Super 8. They are just too pricey for what you get.
The staff didn't give very good directions to the hotel and, although you can see the sign from the Interstate, you cannot see it from the local access road. But at least the staff was friendly when I called back a second time for more directions, and they never lost their temper or seemed frustrated.
