Never any problems with service. Our room was comfortable but didn't have blackout curtains which I prefer. A little crowded but then we had a child with us and don't they make everywhere you go seem crowded! Bathrooms beautifully presented. Suspended vanity provides more floor area. Extending line to hang swimmers. Well maintained recreation area- pool, sauna, spa and gym equipment. Outdoor balcony facing two streets off pool area, though it was a bit cold to use it when we stayed. Convenient location. Walk to shops and restaurants. First floor views from restaurant to two streets below provide not only plenty to look at but also relief for claustrophobics. Buffet breakfasts were the best we've encountered. Thoroughly recommend Novotel Canberra. We've stayed 3 times over 2 years and will come again.
