The Hilton Craigendarroch is the largest Hotel between Edinburgh (3 hrs. South) and Aberdeen (1.5 Hrs. East). What's nice is your surrounded with true Scottish countyside with the luxury of a five star hotel. Great people these Scotts are!!!

Awesome Experience

We stayed in a lodge on the property. It was very comfortable with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, one of which had a sauna. The upstairs had a large, well equipped kitchen and a very large living area with one wall entirely of glass. The people in the hotel were very gracious. We ate a wonderful breakfast buffet 2 days, ordered "take away" which was very good and ate one 4 course dinner in the evening which was graciously served and was quite delicious. The town of Ballater was wonderful. The surrounding countryside is a bit of heaven on earth. We hated to leave and can't wait to go back.
