Worst Hotel Stay Ever
I knew that paying very little, we weren't going to get all the amenities, but we were only staying for one night. I at least expected it to be clean. I read the reviews on here and thought it would be okay.
When we arrived, it took a long time for the person at the desk to serve us. She was the only one there and the phone was ringing and other guests were lined up behind us. Even though we were in line first, they would ask her questions and she would answer, which distracted her from helping us.
The room we had was non-smoking, but it REEKED of smoke. It made me so ill. The bathroom had mold and was dirty (hair and outside dirt). Mold in the bath tub, mold in the sinks -- disgusting. The worst was just the smoke. It was embedded in our clothes and luggage after we left after only one night's stay.
Plus we went to ask the night reception person a question, who was busy watching TV, and barely got a response.
The only plus to this whole thing is that they had parking, albeit it filled up at night.
Also, the "continental" breakfast was pieces of sliced bread and cake that looked it was purchased from the local supermarket.
We'll never go to a Days Inn again.
