Extended Stay America Pittsburgh-Monroeville, Monroeville

I have stayed at the extended stay for 6 weeks this year, two weeks at a time, each month. Rooms are clean and rates are reasonable for this area. Rooms are nice size with kitchen. Beds are on the hard side, pillows nice, not flat. It is located in a good area with plenty of places to eat close by, close to the mall. People are nice, no issues. Parking adequate althouth the spaces are small and spaces fill up from business near by if you park in the front. They do allow pets as someone had a big dog that barked if anyone walked down the hall. This was a big dog. Walls are kind of thin, hear water running in rooms on either side. Internet service, forget that. They charge $5 for the internet and it is slower than dial up, usually 6.5 to 8.6 kb/sec for downloads. I complained several times each stay and it would work a little faster for an hour and then gone again. I found that everyone complains. So if you need internet service go somewhere else. Do not pay $5 as you will be upset. This will probably be my last stay due to internet and the hard beds. I like the location. I give extended stay a poor rating as they have made no effort in fixing their so called high speed internet, and for the hard beds.
