Two years later, and I still want to go back!
I loved this place! What struck me the most was the size of the rooms (a big bonus for westerners) and the quality of the furnishing. At night, I had a beautiful view of the city lights from my window. The train station was close, along with good shopping and bars.
The staff was warm and friendly, a welcome sight after traveling over 16 hours by plane. We had a group of about 50; the staff was ready, waiting, and smiling by the time we, weary travelers, arrived. We were comfortably sitting in our rooms withing 10 minutes.
The breakfasts were to die for; Food from around the world makes a welcome appearance at the breakfast buffet (it costs extra, but spring for it). The breakfast room over looks the train station and is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee as you watch the crowds of people run from train to train in the morning.
Overall, I could not wish for a better stay and I hope one day to return to one of my most favorite hotels in the world.
