Comfort Inn and Suites Yorkton, Yorkton

dirty, linens had some sand or detergent residue on the beds... Hot tub has been out for over a year, but you are not told that when you are booking. Room beside the elevator is next to laundry VERY noisy "but that is just the way it is" (manager quote) and we should expect the noise with a first floor room. I called in a complaint about the hotel to the manager she apparently has NO people skills and justifies and back peddles BEFORE she hears you out! Charges were made to the room but we were told it is "EASY" for the staff to PRESS extra buttons. It must be run by chimps! I was "apparently not supposed to be "upset by this because they would have corrected the error on their own. Last time we stayed at this Hillbilly run hotel we got charged twice for the same night it it took two months for a refund~ Again shows the mentality. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. A family reunion is coming up and we usually book about 30 rooms! Sorry it will not be at this hotel. Eventually it will be condemned!~

About a year ago we stayed at the Comfort Inn for a family reunion. About 6AM we received a wake up call that we did not ask for - we never ever received a apology for the error. About 1 hour ago I called the hotel to book a room for a upcoming wedding - I was put on hold for over 20 minutes while the clerk spoke with numerous people but did not come back on the line to book our room - I WILL NEVER STAY AT A COMFORT INN AGAIN - ANYWHERE! THIS IS TERRIBLE SERVICE

Pool permit was supposedly pulled by the health department for the entire length of out visit. The odour in the elevator and the adjacent corridor was horrible (if you can imagine a combination of sewer smell and vomit). The afternoon desk clerk was less than helpful and borderline miserable. The night desk clerk was significantly less helpful and much more miserable (similar to a rabid dog!!). Overall, the experience was pretty brutal. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!! Spend $20.00 less/night and stay across the street at the Howard Johnson.

Our internet did not work the entire time we were there. The services that are published are not available and the manager on duty was exceptionally rude. Americans should try other hotels. Not American or minority friendly.
