Usually love Courtyard hotels

My husband and I travel quite a bit and try to stay at a Courtyard by Marriott while we're travelling. This hotel has great rooms, a convenient location but has a surly staff. I am NOT talking about the cleaning staff who couldn't have been nicer, but I honestly can't remember a time when I've been treated so rudely by management and wait staff. Complaining or discussing the issue with the local manager only seemed to increase the rude treatment. We arrived later in the evening, around 11:00 p.m. Upon check in, we were told that the computers were down, that they wouldn't take cash payment when they couldn't scan our credit card because of the glitch in their system and that we could complete our check in the next morning. The next morning (although my husband and I joined the Marriott Rewards club and were told that there were "perks" that went along with it) when we went to get our breakfast (which we fully intended to pay for unless it was a perk) were rudely accosted by a wait staff person demanding to see our "ticket". She is only one of the reasons we'll never stay there again. After we complained to her manager, she asked him (under her breath) "Do I give it to them for free?" (since we were complaining) and he told her no way. Once again, if you are really wanting a nice place with good rooms, you can't go wrong with this Courtyard... BUT if you want to be treated like you are a guest in their hotel and if you want to be treated with dignity, stay somewhere else. I'll never stay here again.
