La Quinta Inn & Suites Lafayette, Lafayette

As far as the room itself it is fine, however, I am a traveling nurse and have been staying there every week for the past 2 months and the prices keep increasing! You would think that they would give more of a discount to someone who is giving them weekly business! Also, I looked online before I called directly to make reservations and the price online ( their website!) was totally different when I got up there! Majorly different! I found out that I get a discount since I work at a nearby hospital, so I decided to use it (since they didnt offer it to me when they knew where I worked) and the price was of course HIGHER! Will never stay at this Baymont Inn EVER again.

The bathrooms were not clean. In the first room they gave me, the toilet had visible dirt, and there was some crud on the bathtub which could be scraped off. Dirty toilets are my least favorite thing. My initial request was for cleaning materials & the woman at the desk couldn't help me. She said she was new & hadn't been trained in how to deal with guest's concerns about cleanliness? Her replacement moved me to another room and brought up a rag and some cleaning solution. I did some cleaning in the new room. There were 2 hairs in the sink, there was crud under the rim of the toilet, and there was crud on the bathtub. I asked to leave with my money refunded & they said "no". I left the next morning & continued my stay elsewhere. The regular cleaning people had toilet brushes but apparently they didn't have one to use to clean my toilet because it wasn't regular cleaning hours. I've had to ask for additional cleaning at other motels but most places aren't so unhelpful & most places aren't so dirty.

We made reservations and had a confirmation number and a quoted price. When we arrived they had lost our reservation and the price was almost double what was quoted. However, without asking us anything they placed us into a room exactly like we originally reserved, at a higher price of course. The television in our room had horrible reception and the breakfast was extremely disappointing. Spend alot of time in Lafayette but will think twice before returning to this Baymont.

I am very happy to recommend this motel to anyone. The staff is courteous and motel is in mint condition. Value is superb. I travel ten times a month and Baymont is my favorite brand.

Just spent the night . Enjoyed Room was very clean Bottled water was a nice touch. Did not like the way the shower worked adjusting to shower. always like in-room coffee.
