Hampton Inn and Suites Chapel Hill Durham, Chapel Hill

It was immaculate throughout. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The evening manager was very friendly and accommodating. The evening reception was neat, well done, and well maintained. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in addition to recommending it to others! Yes, it worth the time and money spent. If I had to say anything else, I would say please include more soap in the room. Two tiny bars were not enough for two people. Other than that minor thing, the entire experience was grand.

This place had the best customer service I think I have ever experienced at a hotel. I have stayed here 6 plus times and will always come back to this place for my business trips to the Chapel Hill area. This is a must stay for students of the CIO School at UNC.

First of all, this is for the Hampton Inn and Suites. When I was looking for hotels, I'd often get this one confused with the normal Hampton Inn in looking at ratings, and that is why you will see some comments that praise the place while others hate it. Yahoo needs to include "and Suites" with this listing! This place was great! The desk let me do a late check out past the late check out time because of my later flight. I had to change after my interview, and they had no problems with leting my keep my room later than the check out time. The day before, I didn't get anything to eat because of flight delays and traffic, so needless to say I was going to take them up on the continental breakfast. I thought it would be some cereal and bagels, but for a hungry person it was the holy grail. Bagels, muffins, cereal, eggs, toast, bacon, yogurt...okay, you get the point. It was the BEST continental breakfast I have ever had. The hotel is very clean and tucked away from the main road. I could still see the road from my window, but it wasn't sitting right on the side. The room was clean and big as well as the shower and the bed. My only dislike was the bed. I have to warn you that I am a bad sleeper outside of my own bed anyways (and I like a very soft bed), so their bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept in compared to the Marriot Courtyard or Sheraton beds. I have slept in worse though. I would definitly stay here again. The great staff, breakfast, and other things make up for the less than perfect bed.

This is the best Hampton Inn and Suites that I have ever stayed in. The service was fantastic, the breakfast was hardy, and the rooms were imaculat.

Great location. Local Shuttle Service. Nice breakfast buffet.
