Excellent Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/15/07
The staff were very courteous, friendly, and efficient. I've never checked into a hotel more quickly (literally spent less than a minute at the front desk on arrival). The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I'm typically a very light sleeper in hotels, but had no trouble dozing as the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast the following morning was surprisingly good. There was great variety and it was not outrageously pricy. Good coffee, to boot. Would definitely stay here again.

Third year in a row
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/03/06
This will be our third year to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. The staff are great! We come for Mardi Gras and feel this is the most convenient place to stay. You are close to Mobile in one direction and close to the largest shopping area in the other direction. The rooms are spacious and very clean.

The ONLY choice when in Mobile...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/30/06
I have stayed in this hotel exclusively for 2-3 weeks/month between November 2005 and June 2006, and highly recommend it to all business travelers to the Mobile area. The front desk and restaurant staff are excellent in their jobs; they are very friendly and make you feel welcome at their hotel. On many visits, I was welcomed by name as I approached the desk to check in. (Yes, I travel too much!) While there are other chains in the area, I only recommend this HGI!

fantastic for business people
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/05
THE FRONT DESK STAFF WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS ABOUT ROUTING BUSINESS MESSAGES, FAXES, PACKAGES, YOU NAME IT, TO GUESTS. THEY GOT TO KNOW ME BY FIRST NAME AND THEY WERE ALWAYS POSITIVE AND UPBEAT ABOUT EVERYTHING AND EVERY REQUEST. THE MAIDS WERE ALSO EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND CONSCIENTIOUS ABOUT CLEANLINESS AND THE COMFORT OF THE GUESTS. THIS PLACE IS WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY TO STAY THERE; THE SERVICE AND AMENITIES THROW THE COMPETITION IN THE WEEDS.

NEW
By Dubs, 05/23/05
This is the newest hotel in the area with the best staff. It deserves much praise especially in comparison to what else is around the area. It has an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, high speed internet access, and Ruby Tuesday's for thier room service.

We will stay again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/17/05
We made a trip to Gulf Shores not knowing that a concert was taking place. We drove all afternoon trying to find a decent hotel. As it got later and we could't find anywhere to stay, we decided to drive back, when we saw the Hilton. When we arrived at the hotel it was very late, but the genleman working the desk was very polite, and found us a room. The hotel was gorgous and affordable. It made our night a little better. The next morning we enjoyed the indoor pool and the friendly maid service. We loved the hotel and will be back!

Overpriced
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/16/05
Comfortable, but not over the top. Convenient to downtown Mobile just over the long, yet beautiful bridge. Generally clean but rooms are not necessarily made up in the morning, even by request. On the corner of two major highways where a car is necessary to just get out of the parking lot - no walkways. Breakfast if not included by way of Hilton Honors or group deal is expensive and redundant, even if you do have a coupon, you may opt for a cheaper nearby restaurant with better variety. Lobby bar has very limited hours, but the regular bartender is worth meeting. Dollar for dollar not the greatest value, or best experience.
