Nice place to visit,,,,
By DW, 11/23/09
but don't think we'll be going back. As an exchange in our timeshare we spent a week here. The room was great as well as the service. The staff was always professional and friendly. However, relaxing was not really possible. Unknown if it was the echo of the buildings, but it was not a quiet and relaxing place. There was always something going on somewhere. The balcony was off the guest room not the master bedroom, there weren't enough wastebaskets throughout the unit. Unknown who (maybe previous guest) moved the DVD player to the bedroom and wires hanging out, light switches that didn't turn anything off or on. The a/c as well as the master bathroom fan were so loud the bedroom door had to be shut to hear the tv. Some of the amenitites were tired, looked older and needed some care. Overall it was pleasant, especially the staff. Very welcoming and accomodating.

I would go back. Sales pressure at check in
By Leroy B, 08/05/09
We booked some rooms for my family during the summer. We knew that the links use to be a condo, so we didn’t have high expectations. We got there and were immediately disappointed by the check in process. We were asked about the sales presentation and attending a 90 minute presentation at a nearby resort. We told them no, and the person checking us in insisted that we consider the presentation. I told him no repeatedly and that I had my family in the car and they were waiting on me. He then asked if my wife was calling the shots and if he should come out to the car and talk to her about the presentation. I again said, “no” and asked for my key cards. He then started to tell me how this was his job and he needed to book people into the presentation. I finally grabbed my key cards off the desk and thanked him for checking me in. The rest of our stay was excellent. Our family had a great time and the rooms were large and pleasant.

We had a Great Time!!! August 2-9, 2008
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/08
My girlfriend and I traveled to Arizona for vacation. The Scottsdale Links Resort was great!! The rooms were very clean, great beddings and really nice bath towels. We had a great time. The best breakfast is at The Good Egg. Make sure you get a massage at Massage Envy it was fabulous. For lunch we went to Catino Laredo (forgive spelling) great mexican food, can also attend for dinner. The best italian food was Arrivideci restaurant. We wanted to relax and have fun and we did. Make sure you visit the Old Scottsdale downtown (a little pass the Fashion Square Mall-which by the way is nice as well). If you like to shop for great jewelry downtown is the best. For a one day trip (or even stay overnight) in Sedona, Az the most beautiful place in Az. Make sure that you do a Pink Jeep Tour it was fantastic. Aslo, pleanty of shopping to do. I would highly reccommend Scottsdale Links Resort, because of accommodations, location, and friendly service.

Great Value, Great Location
By Ellen, 01/08/08
We stayed here last March and found the location to be central to attend Cactus League games. It was previously a condo facility so the units are large with huge closets. This is not really a resort but we would definitely stay here again because of the central location and size of the units.

Spacious Room...Very Clean
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/06
This is a very nice resort...very quiet. Not the most elegant of timeshares, but still very nice. The spa was "OUT OF ORDER", which was disappointing. No on site restaurant, but we knew that and prepared with a lot of groceries. Speaking of groceries, carrying it upstairs to the 3rd floor really tested your physical condition. It is quite a haul. It would be nice if an elavator was available. Crew as very friendly and helpful. But the internet was not available. Also, NO Stereo was available in the room if you wanted to just listen to music while just wanting to sit and read a book and "chill out and relax". Overall, a very nice resort. Deserving of a solid four star rating.. It would have gotten a fifth star from me if not for the negative mentioned above.

All the conveniences of home
By Rachel, 05/28/05
We thoughly enjoyed our stay at this resort. The room was clean, modern, and felt like home rather than a hotel. The staff was very helpful. We especially liked the book in our room of suggested Phonix area activities and sites. You should know that this resort is a 3-story complex and if anyone in your group has difficulty climbing stairs, make sure to request a lower level.
