Disappointed with Quality

I arrived and the Front Desk staff was very pleasant and had my room key ready. I am a Platinum member, I arrived to the room to find the Counter top in the room split, carpets so matted that I don't think any type of vacumming would have helped, there was water damage to the bathroom vanity and the tube had caulkinging around the spout which was gapped and not even sealing the area that was caulked. The shower nozzle only pulsed and when I tried to adjust the spray, the shower head came off in my hand. To be honest I stay at a Holiday Inn Express and find the accomodations much nicer than the Candlewood, I am doubtful that I will ever stay there again. I may but only to compare, perhaps this facility is the way it is due to poor management. It is located in an area with competition which after entering their lobbies, I would have preferred to have stayed at one of them. I really don't think Holiday Inn would be pleased with the over all condition of this facility and would suggest that someone from the Corporate Office come down and see what is being a representation of their product.
