Good place to stay

Not Fancy. Not for the weathly.
This is an extended stay hotel. I stayed the New Year's weekend 2009. It was clean, it was quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful. I read the previous reviews of this hotel. I am thinking that some think extended hotels operate like other hotels. They do not. One person wrote a review about a team of girls and wanted to remind us that we were 15 once. Yes I was but never would I been allowed to disturb others in a hotel. I do not know if this team of girls disturbed others or not as I was not staying there at that time. Back when I was 15 I would have been whipped with a belt had I ever disturbed others at work, at school, at play, at home or visiting. We have come a long way. Parents no longer whip their kids which means that hotel managers must kick them out. I stayed at an extended stay hotel in Atlanta some years ago. A team was there of kids ages 10 thru 15, boys and girls. They were a little loud but over all they were behaved. I did have to ask for a room change because I occupied a room between rooms of the children. When other guests ask for room changes the hotel begins looking at those that were pointed out when others are requesting a room change as it could possible cost them money. If these kids were bothering other customers you can bet that threat of an attorney means nothing as they will call those customers as witnesses. My husband who is Black was with me on New Year’s 2009. He was treated respectfully the entire time of our visit. Other Black customers were also treated with respect. I often hate to read hotel reviews. Sometimes they can make you really worry if you have made the right choice or not. I am going to stay at this hotel again this New Year's weekend. When I return I will again write a review.
