Clean, reasonable and close to Stanford.
The Comfort Inn in Palo Alto is very clean, reasonably priced and close to Stanford. The staff is always helpful and accomodating. Continental breakfast every morning from 6:00 to about 10:00 A.M. includes good coffee, fresh fruit, various cold cereals, sweet rolls and muffins as well as a do-it-yourself Belgian Waffle maker. Free in room high speed internet as well as two broad band terminals with printers in the lounge. Its a couple of blocks south of The Fish Market restaurant on El Camino Real and directly across from Jamba Juice and Baja Fresh for the kids. I reecommend it. We have stayed several times and have never been disappointed. No fancy pools, spas or cocktail lounges but a very nice place.
