No Deal
By Michael, 6/13/11
We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was clean but small and basic - had a coffee maker but no coffee! We made a deal and paid for a night in the hotel and for tickets to see a show, in return for attending a timeshare presentation with a cash refund for the show tickets .We waited for the presentation the next day, but they did not want to talk to us and would not give us the promised cash refund.

Do not book your vacation here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/6/10
Do not trust them. We booked a 2 br condo 2 months in advance. A lady called us to tell us 1 week before we were to arrive that they were downgrading us from a 2 bedroom condo to a queen motel room. This left us no time to book another place to stay. They gave us no explanation at all except that the resort was over-booked. The customer service rep was so rude. Not to mention that we had guaranteed our condo with a deposit... Horrible customer service. Terrible experience! Do yourself a favor and book with a different resort. BEWARE...

Loved It! Would love to go again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/09
We stayed in a 2 bedroom (condo like) suite. It had 2 king sized beds with new mattresses, soft pillows. There were 2 bathrooms - 1 with a regular sized shower/tub with shampoo, conditioner, soap, extra towels, washcloths, tp, kleenx and garbage sacks under sink. The smaller room had a king bed, small table with 2 chairs, nightstand, dresser with TV/remote, and a kichenette(it looked like it could be a 1 bedroom with kitchenette since it had a separate outside door and a lock out door connecting our 2 rooms) The larger bedroom had a king bed with nightstands, dresser, TV/remote, closet and a balcony. The master bath had a large whirlpool tub with shower and 2 sinks - also with bathroom amenities. There were 2 ironingboards, iron, closet hangers, hairdryer, washer/dryer with washing powder (for 1 load). Full sized kitchen with all appliances/utensils you would need. Living area with fireplace, large TV/remote, 2 chairs, pullout sofa that overlooked balcony and a square coffe table (there was a single use coffee packet in the kitchen by the coffeemaker. I was told they had a breakfast buffet on site for a fee but we went to the local grocery and bought stuff to fix in our room. Also a stereo with ipod charger, CD player. There was a 6 person dining room table with a nice light fixture and homey decor. The balcony was large enough for a table and 4 chairs with plenty of extra space - it was screened in to protect you from any bugs. Beautiful! Check in and out was easy - Elizabeth (checked us in at 2 am) was great and we loved our suite! as well as Nancy at the concierge desk (we ordered tickets to Dixie Stampede and Titanic there) and Nancy gave us some good tips/advice about the shows, she was very helpful. There was a 5 ft indoor pool with an activity center for kids. There was a nice playground with outdoor activities also. We could have stayed on the property the whole time and had a great time. We took the nature trail to see a waterfall on the property. Our balcony overlooked a pond with a water fountain and bridge. The kids fed the ducks and goldfish that were in the pond. We were upstairs and had no problem with noise - we asked our downstairs neighbors if we bothered them (with noise) and they said no. We didn't try the onsite pizza or outdoor pools. We saw what looked like regular hotel standard rooms as well as some lovely cabins - not sure what they were like inside - our rooms were like 2 story condos - the smaller bedroom had an outside door also and a lock out door inside which might be too cozy if it was your neighbor in that room and not family, but for us it was great. We had no one ask us about timeshares. I would suggest that you call and make sure what type of room you are getting as there appears to be a 1 bedroom kitchenette, 1 bedroom suite, 2 bedroom suite (which are probably the first 2 combined) and standard hotel like rooms, and cabins. I only saw what we stayed in which was a 2 bedroom suite condo (not a cabin). Everyone was nice. We want go back. It was worth the money, of which we got a "buy 2 nights get 1 free" deal.Hope this helps someone make a decision

GREAT place
By ColSanders, 4/5/09
We split a 2 bedroom cabin with some friends. It was very clean, TV in every room. Large bathrooms. Fireplace. Large deck. Kids loved the playground, in-door and out-door pools. Service was quick checking in and out. Very reasonable price for Branson. On-site pizza delivery is great. It is located near the strip and outlet malls. We would stay their again.

Horrible Experience!
By S, 12/5/08
The only thing positive, is that our names were on the list to enter the property at the gate. They had given our room away, so they "upgraded" us to a "B" side of a condo. Upon entering the room, it reeked of a musty mildew odor. We called maintainence and they promptly sprayed the room with a de-oderizer. The gent who sprayed our room appologized and said we probably could move, but as it was late, we opted to stay. BIG MISTAKE. We arrived on Thurs night, and on Friday someone else occupied the "A" side. They promptly turned on their heat and when we returned Friday night, our room was a wonderful 90. That's right... 90 degrees. It would seem that the "A" side has master control over the heat and air. We wound up sleeping with the windows opened a bit just to sleep. We did shopping all day Friday, and when we got back Friday, we noticed the room hadn't been cleaned, no towel, no maid service at all. We called the desk and had to go to the front desk to get clean towels. Finally, after pitching a "fit" we got towels on Saturday, but they didn't make the bed or take out the trash. The property is located in a beautiful setting, and we were so excited to be staying there, it's actually very handy regarding shopping and shows (if you know the backroads). To top it all off, the manager of the property was not available the entire time we were there, so we had no one to express our concerns. Regardless, the property has plenty of amenities, even though we didn't use the pool area. I don't want to sound completely negative, but we go Xmas shopping over at Branson each year, and try to stay in a different place each year. This has, however, been our worst experience thusfar. Hope you have better luck if you stay with them.

A great place
By starchildone, 8/2/08
My family has just returned from Branson. We enjoyed the Branson Woods resort. The kids loved the poolS. The grounds were lovely, well kept.Lots of activities. As part of our package we received our two Silver dollar city tickets for free. Our timeshare presentation was impressive, and not pushy at all. We will stay there again.

Awful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/2/07
Upon check-in, despite reservations made a year in advance, we were told that they didn't have our cottages available. [We were going to this resort for a family reunion where dozens of other family members from across the country were meeting for several days.] They offered nothing close to our original reservation and offered no discount without additional calls and discussion. We had to find an off-site location to stay while my mother was able to take what they offered us. Her 2-bedroom cottage immediately smelled like mold, was dark, and never "felt" clean. There were warnings in the guest book confirming our observation of brown recluse spiders. They screwed up other family members' reservations and had the audacity to say that "it had never happened before", again, despite reservation confirmation numbers and at least three parties having their reservations "lost." In the end, my feeling was that they're only in it for the money, not to do what's right and stand by their obligations. I would never return here again under any circumstance.

A great place to relax!!!
By Wajiha N, 6/2/06
The Woods Resort in Branson, MO is a great place to get away and relax for couples or families. You have your choice of rooms to pick from to suit your familiy's needs. It is very pretty and peaceful, yet you're only minutes away from shopping, dining, and entertainment. If you choose not to leave the resort area, there is plenty to do for the kids; such as trails, swimming, and a basketball court. We had a 2 br 2 ba cabin. I was quite surprised at how spacious the cabin was. To be honest, I was very excited about having our own washer/dryer in the cabin, with 3 kids, everyone knows about what a great amenity that is. The only thing that could use improvement is the breakfast buffet. Our rooms included the buffet, but I don't think it was a great variety or quality.
