Comfort Inn, Waynesburg

The room was clean. Service was average. The internet was totally out of service and the staff prompts you to call a "800" number for tech assistance and says "it is probably a flaw with MY computer. Twenty minutes in hold to a tech in Atlanta to find out their service is down. When it is online ,.....it sucks worse than dial-up. Sleep Inn and Days Inn are the same scenario. Continental breakfast was average. Mattress was very poor quality. Not much choice in restaurants in this area. Pass this one up and go another 30 minutes into Pittsburg.

I had business in the area and this place was conveniently located. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was great! However, there is a strange smell in the hallways.

The hotel was conveniently located right off the highway. Hotel staff was nice. Rooms clean. Wireless internet connection good. I used my Choice Privileges guest points--great value. I thought it a little odd, though, that the clerk put me in the only nonsmoking room on a smoking floor and the room was right by the elevator. No pool, which can be important for families traveling with children. The hotel is a comfortable place for weay travelers, though. Bob Evans is right across the parking lot and there is plenty of parking. Microfridge in all the rooms.

Hotel is showing its age, Internet service is POOR, TV is terrible, with minimal stations, poor room lighting, rooms kinda dirty and stink, bed uncomfortable.

I visit this hotel at least a couple of times a year since it has opened. I have noticed the hotel staff becoming less and less accommodating to the weary traveler. On a recent visit I found the front desk staff rude and distasteful. My requests made 45 days in advance, and again at check in were ignored. The hotel is beginning to show it signs of age and is need of a re-modeling project. The project should include revamping the non-smoking rooms. Smoking and non-smoking rooms were side by side. We could smell smoke inside our non-smoking room. The beds were less than inviting. For the three nights spent there a good nights sleep was not on the agenda. The mattresses showed signs of wear with obvious dips in the middle of the beds. Next time we will not stay in Waynesburg, we will stay in Morgantown or Washington.

We go to an annual event in the area. This was our first stay at the Comfort Inn. We had a king bed room, with a whirlpool bath, refrigerator and in-room safe. Very well kept rooms. The hotel was clean, bright, and modern overall. The complimentary breakfast was comparable to some of the pricier places we've stayed. We will definitely stay there again next July. Although the staff was very professional and pleasant, we did have a problem with a maid opening our door at 8:30 a.m. without first knocking or announcing herself, or apologizing afterward. The door had a bolt type fixture, so she wasn't able to enter the room, but it was still frightening to hear the door open. Use your "do not disturb" door sign.

We needed a room while visiting relatives in Waynesburg. We are really picky about where we stay and were hesitant about any of the motels. We decided to try the Comfort Inn and we were really pleased. They have a great continental breakfast and the room was really roomy as well as well equipped. It was a great stay.
