In addition to the comfortable recliner and large work desk, the oversized studio suites feature a kitchen that allows you to prepare meals at your convenience. As a guest of Extended Stay America, you receive complementary movie channels, free local phone calls, voice-mail, and a two-line phone with a computer dataport. Guests also have access to a 24-hour, coin-operated laundry facility. Weekly housekeeping ensures that you have fresh linens throughout your stay. Pet Policy- One pet per room is allowed. A $25 USD cleaning fee will be charged per night, not to exceed $150 USD. This charge will be applied at check-in.

I come to Jacksonville several times a year and this is the best place to stay. Book ahead to make sure you have a place to stay. Rooms are hard to get last minute in Jacksonville. The rooms here are larger than most in the area. It also has a microwave and full size fridge. Rooms are very clean (not worried about dirty sheets and towels as in other places). I feel safe staying here (can't say the same for other places). Staff is always friendly. Other places charge about the same amount of money but they are not as good. I have learned (the hard way) that if I have to stay somewhere else I need to see the room before staying.
 
 
 
 
 
Will NEVER even condiser staying here again

I will never stay here again. For starters, the lights in my room didn't work, the shower never got above 85 degrees, and the remote resembled more of a doggy chew toy. I asked to be switched to a more suitable room, and the front desk staff informed me that they would notify me (and also my boss, who asked to have his room switched as well) when another room became available. More and more guests checked in...but I never heard from them again. Terrible terrible hotel and service. Oh, and the towels are only changed weekly, along with the sheets, and the room is cleaned only once. And they charge you for internet access, unlike other local hotels
 
 
 
 
 
Enjoyable stay

I got to Jacksonville one night early; this was the only hotel with an opening that was in the better part of town. The hotel lobby looked like it was remodeled recently, so that was great. The rooms need some updating. The mattress was like a brick, but some people like a firm mattress. The comforter had seen better days, but other than that it was clean. I would recommend this hotel, but I still think it was a little over priced.
 
 
 
 
 
Great Place!

The staff was very friendly, especially the manager who reimbursed me for some clothing the dryer messed up without complaint. They didn't seem to mind all my questions about the area, especially for directions and did their best to get me where I needed to be. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel was in a good location for my needs. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again.
