Stayed there in September 09, it was nice and clean. The breakfast was very good and so was the service. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Keep it up!!! We will be back this year.

WE WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN

we called from the airport to get a bus,our ride was there in 10min's We got to the hotel alittle early there was 16 people,they told us we would have to wait awhile,by the time he checked us all in our rooms were all ready we went to our rooms and to the pool,the staff outside was very nice,it was very clean,the people were all very nice,i don't think i've stayed in a hotel that people went out of there way to be nice,the next day we were going on a cruise,we were walking down the hallway with all our suit cases,a man ran up and helped with all our bags,the bus picked us up and took us to our port.we will stay at the sprillhill again

Good for cruise passengers

We arrived late (1:00 am)with our five children after flying all day long and were so grateful for the free shuttle to the airport, and the driver was waiting for us by the time we got our luggage. The hotel has been renovated and the lobby is beautiful and has a very nice breakfast in the morning. It is a normal Springhill with no fancy beds, but FLL is so expensive for hotels, we really didn't care. There is also a complimentary shuttle to the cruiseport in the morning, which is great when traveling with so many kids! Our only complaint is that our AC was frozen and we were roasting until maintanence came in the morning to fix it.

i wouldn't stay here again

the hotel was worn. the phone and a/c didn't work. no hairdryer. bad custimer service. carpets were worn. poor internet access. some ice machines didn't work. found trash and wgite powder on the floor. i wouldn't stay here again.

Definitely Improving!

I stayed at the hotel in December 2005 - it was absolutely the worst hotel experience I ever had! Dirty, run - down, the staff was terrible! Then, I learned that Marriott had taken the hotel back and that they were renovating. So I took my chances. I stayed on February 19th for 2 days before my Carribean Cruise and really have nothing to complain about. They were renovating the lobby, but on the other hand, it was nice to see the work being done - the staff was pleasant, my room was very clean, and the 32" TV was great. I can see they're making an effort to bring the hotel back from the dead, and their efforts are paying off. The Hotel is 10 times better than the Hampton Inn across the street.
