WARNING -- TERRIBLE
Made reservations two months in advance. Upon arrival there was no room available. They put me in a meeting/hospitality room without a bed! When I complained to the front desk they told me "That's what you get for reserving a room on-line". Slept on a sofa one night. Never again.

A little expensive, but nice..
By mt, 11/12/09
We had a great view of the river from our room. The room was expensive considering we ordered the romantic package. The champagne and strawberries were not the best. The bed wass comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was nice and took care of any problems we had which were few. If the price is cheaper we will stay again.

i wouldn't stay here again
By golfgrll, 8/14/09
the window curtain had fallen. there was mold in the shower curtain. a used q tip was left there from the previous guest in the drawer. the bed was hard as a rock. there was dirt on pillows and smelled bad. the iron board was broken. it wouldn't stand up. breakfest and food wasn't good. the hotel smelled like mold.especially the water fountain. i wouldn't stay here again.

Stay Somewhere Else
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/30/09
Although this hotel is near the convention center there is no other reason to stay here. There is nothing else near this hotel except for liquor stores and run down buildings. There is one over priced mediocre restaurant on site, and you'll go broke paying for parking every night. In addition the hot tub was out of order when we stayed there. You would enjoy the trip a lot more if you stayed on the Cincinatti side of the river. It's a short drive across the bridge to the convention center.

Service is Extraordinary
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/31/07
I have traveled alot but never once had the service I experienced at the Rivercenter. With every question I had the staff was prompt on responding and solving any issues that came along (which were rare). The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the view of the city is the best that I have ever seen. I arrived late due to a plane delay and the restaurant was closed. Amy, who checked me in at the front desk, informed me there was a great place to eat next door at Behle Street. I look forward to my next stay at the Rivercenter.

The worst night ever!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/14/06
We reserved two nights at this hotel to take our 18 month old daughter to see the fireworks on Labor Day. We paid extra money and we were guaranteed a riverview room with a fireworks view. I called in advance and confirmed this with the hotel manager. When we arrived we were told that there was not a fireworks view room available so we were given a different room. There was a party in the room next to us that night and the cops were finally called after numerous complaints. But this was not the worst of the stay. When we were getting prepared to go out the next morning I noticed bugs crawiling all over the bed skirt. My husband lifted the mattress and hundreds of bugs came crawling out. I am not exaggerating there were hundreds of them. When I complained to the front desk they offered us free breakfast!!!! Fortunately I was smart enough to have a housekeeper come in and see the intruders. Also, I had taken pictures. If you are considering staying here and do not like bed bugs I would definitely reconsider!!!!!

Bad Service Upon Arrival!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/3/06
I called two days in advance for two rooms, if not connecting at least close. Also gave my request for non smoking. The telephone employee was very nice and helpful. We almost stayed at the Embassy Suites but had always before had good service at the Marriotts. Upon check in at 3:45 PM, only one room was ready and by the time we got the second room, it was not even close. Also a smoking room. Your employees did not care and other people were complaining about their situations. We were dissapointed.

Looking forward to going back in August 2005!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/3/05
I stayed here in 2004 for a convention. I was very pleased with the rooms, service, and especially the view. I also enjoyed the abiltity to park the car on Wednesday and not move it at all until we left on Friday. Everything we needed was within walking distance, or a boat ride.

Very Nice Stay
By Kaye, 6/6/05
This was a very nice hotel. The rates were a little high when we went in April, but it was worth the price, especially for the riverview rooms that overlook the Ohio and downtown Cincinnati beyond. A great, choice for staying before and/or after a ball game in Cincinnati, as it's just a short walk over the bridge to the stadiums. The rooms were very nice, as was the pool (although it's a little small and a long walk from the rooms) Will go back again sometime.
