My first trip to new orleans

The hotels location is terrible, canal street is rife with crime, the ritz has seen better days, I was lucky I made it ouuta there alive, this was my first and last trip to New orleans

My Last Conference in New Orleans

What a terrible place to stay, I attented an insurance conference in March and I could not believe the lack of security in and around the hotel, the hotel was dirty and unkempt, I actaully witnessed a lady being dragged back to her room, If you have to stay here my best advice is to not leave your room, canal street is dirty and there is litter everywhere, this was my first and last trip to New orleans

My Last business trip to New Orleans

Everything was awful, I will never go back again, the rooms and the service were terrible. This new orleans ritz is and never will be up to standards, crime is rampant around the hotel.

Extraordinary

Despite the Renovation, the historic hotel was such a treat. Enjoyed all amenities: in house spa, feather-down mattress and linen, location in regards to downtown N.O., the wonderful food and delectable selection... Highly Recommended

I'll come to new orleans and stay only if its in the Ritz-Carltonmy stay was Beautiful.

The hotel had everything in the reach. Weather it was food or fun. Also it was a place to relax in spa or fittness center. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay!

The service was excellent. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The city was beautiful as well. Excellent location and convenient to downtown stores and french quarters. I loved the stores in the riverwalk and the Harrah's casino. I can't wait to go back.

Be treated like royalty at the Ritz

This is a superb place to go in New Orleans. If you enjoy great jazz music you MUST go to the piano bar while there and see Jeremy Davenport who plays on the weekends. Pure jazz talent, great dessert, comfortable atmosphere, and if you can make a small space for yourselves - great place to dance with the one you love. A++

Super Hotel

Great location about a block to Bourbon Street and a short walk to the Mississippi River and its attractions. Staff and rooms were superb. Definitely stay at this location again.

Beautifully done

Location of the property is very close to Bourbon street and on Canal Street (with all that implies - nasty, dirty, smelly people). Rooms were very, very nice. Stay in a corner room if you can... you get windows on 2 sides. Not much of a view, but lots of light. Furniture and appointments were first-rate, bathroom exceptional. Court-yard was quiet and charming. Did not use restaurants, but am sure they reflect the quality of the hotel. Flower arrangement at front desk was magnificent as were all the public areas. Would recommend trying the The Ritz-Carlton Maison Orleans which is on the backside of the Ritz main hotel.... much quieter and easier to get in and out of ...... Both are very close to the action in the French Quarter.
