Homewood Suite by Hilton, Seattle

Hotel was nice, clean, and the front desk staff were great. Very professional and courteous. Would definately stay again... There is a Safeway store close by ( walking distance)..

Pros: Excellent service from housekeeping, front desk and breakfast service. Nice clean room. So nice to have a full kitchen and large bath. Very nice breakfast! Cons: Sofa was terrible - you get that "sinking feeling". Bed was cozy with nice linens but a bit too hard. Price a bit too high. I would recommend this hotel to those that want to spend time at the EMP, Space Needle, Pacific Science Center or Key Arena. There is a bus stop across the street but you can walk down to the waterfront from here and make your way to Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square. The monorail to downtown from the Space Needle is convenient and close by.

We stayed for just one night to catch a concert in the Key Arena. The suite exceeded our expectations with so much room - even a walkway between the bed room and sitting room. Its so nice to have real room to walk inside the suite. Even the washroom is huge. We'll look forward to return here to enjoy the city centre.

We spent a weekend in Seattle and wanted a hotel close enough to downtown, but quite enough that we could relax. Its a good hike to downtown (about 20 minutes to Pike St Market) and after a big meal at one of the many great restaurants, it was very relaxing. The beds are great, very comfy and the hotel is pretty quiet. We had a bay view which was nice, as long as you didn't look straight down to see the traffic. There was some noise from traffic but very little. The rooms are big and very comfortable and clean. I usuallu walk around the hotel room in my white socks and they were still white at the end of the day, which is a lot better than most hotels I have stayed in ( I am a frequent traveller and spend around 100 nights in a hotel/year). Breakfast was pretty good, considering it was a buffet. If we were coming back to Seattle, we would definitely consider staying here again PS- another plus, they allow pets.

Nothing nicer than walking into a hotel and feeling like you are at home! Seperate bedroom means that if someone is tired and another person isn't, they can watch tv without disturbing the sleeper. Each room has a refrigerator, stove top, microwave, and broadband internet accessability. The hotel serves a wonderful breakfast every morning that includes waffles, fresh fruit, eggs, sausauge, cereals, etc. tea and coffee. Monday through Thursday there is a Manager's reception that also gives you a great buffet at no cost. Down close to the airport, it is close to downtown and shopping. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We had never been to Seattle before so we booked our stay here sight unseen. It proved to be a wonderful surprise. It all felt clean and fresh. Lots of room in the living room, kitchen and bedroom for us and our two kids to separate out for some down time. Our king sized bed was supremely comfortable. And the breakfast buffets in the beautiful diningroom downstair provided ample food for us all in the morning--in fact going down for breakfast was a real highlight in our days. This dining room was a great public sitting space for the rest of the day, too, because of the comfortable couches and upholstered chairs. The location was great because it was so close to the space needle site. We walked back from Pike's market through the Belltown district one day, and took a tour around the Queen Anne district another. The only complaint we have is that the roll away cot my daughter used was thin and wiry and very uncomfortable. We had to buffer it with some couch cushions before she could sleep on it. Then she was fine. But if they fix this problem, this place really is perfect, like an extremely well cared for residential hotel where you wouldn't mind staying forever.
