The Suites At Hershey, Hershey

Last year, my wife and I wanted to start a new tradition for the week of Thanksgiving. This year we went to Hershey, PA. We were thoroughly impressed with the accomadations and staff alike. Whenever we had any questions about where to eat, things to do, etc. the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommeded the Suites at Hershey if you are going to that area.

We just returned from a 4 day retreat to Hershey. This was our first official family trip since our new baby was born (she is 5 months old now.) We had not been here before. This hotel was the best!!! All the conveniences of home. Since we have 5 children, yes 5, we needed a place to accommodate our family. This place was wonderful. We brought some of our own stuff (exersaucer and pack n' play) but the resort equipped us with a high chair which was very nice. The kids had plenty of room to move about. Since my husband and I switched off doing activities with the kids, we spent quite a bit of time in our room, so the room size did matter to us. As far as the trains go, we weren't bothered by them at all! We were in building #1. We really liked having the parking garage right underneath the building we were staying in. It was very convenient when transporting luggage. The washer/dryer in the kitchen was very helpful, too. Daily maid service is available at an additional fee ($35 for Tidy Up service and $81 for total maid service) but since we have our own system down pat (the older kids make their own beds, pick up after themselves, etc.) we didn't need it done for us. Housekeeping did come by daily and remove our trash (they ask that you just sit it outside your door before noon.) The size of these rooms is unbelievable for a hotel. Our kids had plenty of room to play. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. We really appreciated the staff giving us a list of restaurants that delivered along with the phone numbers. They also gave us directions to many activities nearby. There is a Walmart about 10 minutes away (it took 10 minutes due to traffic.) The proximity to restaurants, Hershey World, and Zoo America was awesome. This resort is in a fantastic location. Our kids also enjoyed activities at the resort including the game room (which is in the club house,) the indoor pool (which is in building 2) and they also played on the wooden swing set/play yard outside. In the room, the kids brought along some DVD's and watched them off and on throughout our stay. The babies enjoyed watching their Baby Einsteins we brought from home. I enjoyed the fitness room. It is very small, but do-able. Since I run on the treadmill daily, I was happy they had a nice treadmill. They had 3 pieces of equipment total. There is also a TV in there. We will be staying at this resort again. We travel quite a bit and plan to come back a little later this year when Hershey Park opens. Don't hesitate on staying here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is extremely family friendly and Hershey is an awesome place to visit. Very relaxed. Don't worry about the trains either. They weren't a problem for us at all!! Your family would love it here!!!!

I have to say we had a great time only stayed for 4 days wish we had been there longer . Went with my mother, sister and my 2 kids. Had planty of room. Everyone we met was very nice, the kids thought the pool was the BEST.. Close to Hershey Park, outlets and good resturants.

Convenient location- close to Hershey Park Waterpark and Amusement Park. Across the street from the outlet mall, indoor and outdoor pools, gameroom for the kids, and your own kitchen/washer and dryer! Way better than a hotel!

We checked in on a Thursday and checked out on that Sunday. We loved the Resort and the town from the moment we arrived. The place was spacious and really clean. We were in building 1 so we got to hear the trains, which were not a problem because where I live ( In town) we are near a train track. It was so much to do in Hershey we got to tour The chocolate World, which my daughter enjoyed,We toured Hershey on a trolley which we loved, We did the zoo and had a great time at the outlet mall. Lancaster is also an great place to visit we made a day out of it there. We got a buggy ride to tour the Amish community. That was Awesome. To finish up the day there we had dinner at a resteraunt called Plain and Fancy. I encourage all to eat there. The food there was great. My family had a wonderful time in Hershey and loved the suite that we were in.

Wonderful place to stay. We stayed seven nights, had two units and enjoyed every minute of it. Everything you need and want. Close to all the attractions you would want to see and do. We had a few problems in the room, I made a call and they fixed them the same day. Not a big deal.

this is one of the best hotels. guaranteed to fit you and your family for a nice stay. My family enjoyed it except for the trains always passing by our room. The room was big and lots of space to just relax and enjoy our stay. i recommend this hotel for you if you love chocolate and a nice comfortable stay. :)

clean, nice, fashionable, all matching dishes, all very nice. check-in was quick. only problem was I heard the trains the first night, the other 3 people staying with me did not. But they moved us and then I did not hear the trains the rest of our stay. I would stay here again.

My family and I stayed at the suites for 3 nights while visiting Hershey Park. The rooms where very clean and modern. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and my children loved that there were 3 TV's. The only thing that I can say that was not up to par were the pools. There is an indoor and an outdoor pool that were way too small to accomodate the amount of people staying there. The pools were clean and very nice, but way too crowded. Also...the sheets didn't fit the beds. Everytime I would change position, the sheets would pop off the corner of the bed. It was tough getting a complete night's sleep. Overall, The Suites at Hershey offered a very nice value.

We usually go to Disney every year and stay on property, so we had very high expectations which were met with the accomodations at the Suites at Hershey! Our family of five, two three year olds and a seven year old, had more then enough room. Very, very clean, modern and everything was in working order. Activites for the children not nearly as abundant as at Disney, but with Hershey Park within view, there was never a down minute with nothing to do. Also loved the Outlets, literally across the street, so convenient! We are planning to go back in December and will definetly stay at this property again, absolutely no complaints! For those hesitant about the train, I was awakened at 1240 am the first night by the whistle, but my husband and children never heard a thing and I wasn't awakened by it again after the first night, not a problem at all.
