Room was cozy!

It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at Sweethoteldeals. Net They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

MARCH MADNESS BEWARE
By ,
Here on a business/pleasure trip. Watching the March madness and they lost TV signal for the next 14 hours. Their tv signal seems to go in and out all the time and did not have TNT or TRUTV channels

Loved it!
By ,
There's nothing to dislike about this place. It was quiet, clean and accomodating. The only thing that was a bit different to me was that the bed was just a bit small to me. I have a California King at home and I believe this bed had to be a full size but other than the size the bed was absolutely comfortable! I would definitely visit this hotel again:o)

Home away from Home
By ,
Wonderful place!!!! We stay here whenver we can get to Vegas(usually a week at a time, about six times a year) and love it. From the moment that you check in you feel at ease, and my dogs are very welcome as well. We have stayed in a Studio and a one bedroom Suite, and like the Suite because it gives you a door to put between you and the spouse wanting to watch something else on tv(you have your own tv in the bedroom) or maybe you just need a quiet nap and the spouse wants to stay up. And this hotel has the most comfy hotel beds that I have EVER enjoyed, and I travel a lot! Each room has huge windows, and you can get some wonderful Strip views. Every room has a full kitchen, with full-sized fridge and stove and microwave, complete with nice new dishes and pots and pans(great for those items that you bring home from those great Vegas restaurants!) And you either have a kitchen table and chairs, or a bar and stools. You have a desk and chair to use with your computer(and free and easy internet access!), and a full-sized sofa(bed) and chair and coffee table. This is a small apartment!!! There is no daily charge for dogs, just a $100 charge for the entire stay for extra cleaning(and my dogs leave fur, so that's fair). They offer a wonderful cooked breakfast in a huge dining area with fireplace and big flatscreen above it, and a very nice free light dinner on weeknights. Very nice pool and hot-tub(with a gas grill that guests can use!) and a 24 hour gym. I spilled some chili this last trip so having access to a washer saved my shirt! Also, this is a completely non-smoking hotel, so it smells great. It's peaceful and safe and a great place to recharge after a day and night on the Strip. This is a very clean and modern hotel, 11 floors, and we will continue to stay there.

The post added here by JWest is for another hotel
By ,
It is obvious that the person who gave this review is confused about the hotel where they stayed, Hughes Center does NOT have "upstairs" bedrooms. The Hughes Center location is a modern 11 story high-rise located at Flamingo and Paradise, it is NOT the two-story Residence Inn further down Paradise closer to the Hilton. (Maybe admin can move the review to the proper spot for the correct hotel???) Hughes Center is the only place I stay when in Las Vegas, it is extremely clean, the staff is quite friendly and always helpful, and I get to take my dogs(and they are extremely welcomed and I feel they are extremely safe). Having a Starbucks basically in their parking lot is really nice also. The breakfasts, as well as the afternoon social hour meals during the week are a nice bonus if I happen to be around, and their store comes in VERY handy. I LOVE having a full-sized fridge in the room(for left-overs at all the great places I eat, some of which are located right beside the hotel!!!) I will actually be there again in just a week, and GREATLY looking forward to it.

Great place to stay!
By ,
This was a great place to stay! We stayed in a suite, it had a bed room upstairs for the kids and a bedroom downstairs for me and my husband. It was very very clean and orderly. The complimentary breakfast buffett was terrific! Everyone was so nice and extremely helpful! It is not on the main strip, which was OK with us. We figured that if it was it would be more noisy and we would have a hard time sleeping. I also liked the fact that it didn't have any casino machines in it. With 2 young kids with us, they saw enough of that as it was other places! (We don't gamble, we were there with my husbands work)

Nice value driven hotel but becoming dated
By ,
This is a nice hotel with a very plesant staff. Everything about this hotel is nice. The breakfast bar is bountiful, my room was clean. Having a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room is very nice. It was also very nice to have free internet and plenty of working space. However, when you compare this hotel to the newer Hyatt Place hotels, this hotel does seem very dated. Marriott should consider updating these hotels with more modern items such as flat screen tvs and nicer counter tops. They should also consider dvd players and hook-ups for IPODs in the room. However, before you stay at this hotel make sure this location works for you, in those very hot Las Vegas days walking to the strip or convention center can be quiet a rough trip. Taxis is Vegas are plentiful but a litte pricy. Please consider getting a rental car to travel as this hotel does provide free covered parking. I would stay at hotel again but only if the price is right.

Nice change in Vegas
By ,
I have stayed here during conventions and it was a nice change from a big casino hotel. It is quiet (as long as you are away from laundry or elevator) and the staff is friendly. It is also very close to Gordon Biersch, Starbucks, and FedEx. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is nice having a small kitchen as well. It's a great value for Vegas. They have a great rewards program. It's easy to get a nonsmoking room. This is sometimes quite difficult in Vegas, but not at this hotel. It's also nice to come back to hotel and not have to hear constant noise of gambling casino.

Excellent
By ,
Excellent value for weekend. I shopped all the majors for weekend pricing and most were $350+. Residence Inn was about $200 for a 2 bedroom suite. Rooms are seperate with a living room in the middle with a pull out sofa bed. Rooms each have seperate full baths and seperate temperature controls. Kitchenette is wonderful for family with children that need micro and fridge for food and drink. restaurants are within wlaking distance Terribles Hotel and Casino is 1 block away you could walk there for a $7.00 buffet. If you are looking for Marriott level service at a Vegas value price this is definitely the place for you. Although here for family trip I am a business traveler as well and I dont know where or when I have found a better value.

Nice!
By ,
I liked the value. For what we paid it was excellent! We stayed in a two bedroom suite. Even though it is off the strip, it's worth it.
