OK room, but customer service was terrible!
By ,
I have no complaints about our spacious two-bedroom suite, and the full kitchen was great to have. But the customer service was terrible. We forgot something at the resort when we left, and we drove back in a few hours after the housekeeping person on the phone said to come pick it up. When we arrived, they couldn't access the room where housekeeping put the item, because they had all left and they had the only keys to the room (which I find highly suspect). It was a major fiasco, and they ended up mailing it after much hand-wringing. I wouldn't recommend this place based on the customer service.

Disappointed and In disrepair.....
By ,
This resort was not rated correctly in my opinion. We stayed using our RCI points. We reserved the two bedroom for our family of 5. This place is highly overrated. First immpression. Our room was outside of the securtiy gate where we parked. We then had to haul our luggage up a long flight of stairs and down a very long hallway. As we walked into our room it smelled like raw sewage. The room decor was very outdated and the overall space was tiny for 5 people. The master was so small it didn't have a closet. The second bedroom had two twin beds. The dresser had to be place in the closet it was so small. I can't tell you the nemerous repairs we had to request. Shower head broke, drain broke, dishes needed washing, fridge was turned off and hot, micorwave handle cracked and broken, oldstyle tv's didn't work, outside deck in need of paint job, towels stained and gross. Once our towels had been replaced only to return to resort later after a day spent at Disney to find them fallen in the toilet. Talk about gross. The view we had from our room was okay, Pool side. The noise from the pool was very loud as our room didn't keep out the noice. Requested a second fan only to find out it was broke and hubby ended up fixing on his own. Pool was disqusting. Brown crud caked the sides of the Jacuzzi not to mention the water was tempid. The Secuity of the resort was horrible. Anyone could have walked straight off the streets into the resort. Gaining acess to all the rooms You didn't need a key to get into it or the gated parking lot, swimming pool or quest rooms. Needless to say.....we were very disappointed with our stay. We would never stay here again. Save your money and points....

I'll be choosing something different next time
By ,
I do not know how long Dolpin Cove II has been in operation but if your going to call your self a resort you should spend a little money on renovations .The AC in the unit we stayed in was so noisy I decided to turn it off . Upgrade the outdated televisions in the units , get those inefficient windows replaced with double pane and save some energy and maybe the outside noises will be eliminated for the most part . The location was great for Disneyland the staff was friendly so I guess overall we had a good time .

\"Never going back\" question
By ,
Do you recall the room number? I stay in, I believe, room 301 from July 11 to 18 and brought back bed bugs, tock a month and 4 different doctors to realize that is what was biting me and my wife. We just found 2 of them on Sunday Aug 16th. Hope you did not bring back any unwanted guess. Do you just switch rooms or move to different place all together? I will post a very review soon. may email at jv97@sbcglobal.net if like.

Never going back
By ,
After spending the whole day @ dland we get back to the room and notice it is infested with ants. Luckily all our stuff was still packed. We called the front office and they sent a maintenance person with a can of bug spray and sheets for us to change out the bed. After he sprayed about a whole can in the bedroom none of us could even breath. We ended up sleeping in the living room because since it was after hours they couldn't give us another room. We left the next morning to a much nicer place with no bugs

Dear Dolphine Cove
By ,
I liked the free paper, free internet, and close prox. off the highway. I didn't like that my vehicle got broken into within the locked resort and they wouldn't reimburse me for my radar or charger wiring. thanks dolphine cove, not going back

Would love to go back!
By ,
After reading many bad reviews on this place, I was a tad scared, but couldn't pass by a free hotel! So after packing sheets, blankets and cleaning supplies, we arrived and found out we didn't need them! The room was clean, staff was great, grounds where beautiful! The grounds where decorated for the Holiday season, and though we didn't use the pool, it looked clean and nice. Only problem was the sofa bed was very uncomfertable, and you have to walk a ways for the shuttle to Disney, and after walking all day for 8-12 hours, you don't want to walk that much more. I still give it 5 stars. Stayed for 1 week, with my mom, and 2 siblings ages 15 and 12. If the shuttle was moved closer, we would totally stay again!

My family of 5 agreed, we would consider returning.
By ,
The online pictures were true to the actual accommodations. Very Nice. The grounds are very well maintained and picturesque. The location of the property is within minutes of Disneyland, restaurants, foodmart, 5 to 10 minutes of the Target, Costco and the local Mall. My family of 5 had plenty of room in the 2 BR. Our 3 complaints were not enough 2 bathroom units available for rent, the laundry room had 6 washers and only 3 were in working order, the third complaint was the early pool closing hours at 10 P.M., my family enjoys night swimming after returning from our day trips. When returning to the Anaheim area we will consider Dolphins Cove as a place to stay. (Stayed 1 week 6/2008)

not sure if we would go back
By ,
I mean it was ok as the days went on and you had a look around and seen what was there to offer us. The first day there I had asked for the patio to be cleaned and the chairs were dusty and the ground had sunflower seeds on it and it look as if someone had swept everything in the cornor and left it there. Asking the housekeeper to clean this up so the toddler would be able to join us out on the patio she acted like I was putting her out. The rest of the team there was pretty helpful and nice. Great pool and the kitchen was stocked. I just wished it was better cleaned for a family place and less bugs in the room.

Just what we wanted
By ,
We liked the convenient location, cleanliness, nice rooms, imaculate grounds, and relaxing environment. The service was prompt and thorough. The room was very comfortable - air conditioning, comfortable bed, nice kitchen. The office staff were helpful and courteous.
