A pleasant experience with a couple small hiccups
Pros: Well-equipped rooms with large refrigerator, two heating elements, microwave, dishwasher, and composting sink. Clean, comfortable bed. Spacious working area and bathroom. Efficient check-in & check-out. Quiet location off main roads. Nifty cabinet near check-in with convenient cooking options for weary travelers. Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Home Depot and plenty of dining options within sight. 15 minutes to downtown Pittsburgh.
Cons: Was awakened at 11pm to alarms, as someone on the first level burned toast. Waited outside for 45 minutes for fire and police to turn off loud alarms. Upon informing front desk of the inconvenience the following morning, was met with a detached "this hardly ever happens" response. VCR clearly on its last legs and in need of cleaning. Oddly, no spoons in the room.
Overall, I enjoyed the stay. A reasonable value in the $70-80 range. The hotel is a spitting image of the Candlewood Suites in Arlington, TX.
