Carnegie Hotel, New York

It was a great hotel, I stayed there a few nights. I paid for most of it with a free gift card that I got from ESPN. I think they're still giving them out at nflgiftcards.info, hurry before they run out!

My sisters and I absolutely loved it here. Infact we stayed here 3 yrs in a row. I loved the staff. They were very personable. The lobby is too die for!! The stairway and elevator are so clean you can see your reflection. The rooms are gorgeous. I loved the little kitchen. Who cares about the view. The location is great--a block from Central Park!!! Thanks for the great times!!

The pictures are very deceiving, the rooms smell musty, the sheets are old yellow tinged, the pillows are old with stains on them. There is no doorman, it is so small that the NY taxi driver had difficulty finding it. Very few channels on TV. the air condition doesn't get too cool. Sounds can be heard through the adjoining rooms and hallway. View is awful, a diry side street, when I was there a dead pigeon laid on the side walk in front of the door for days. The contiental breakfast is only coffee and small muffins.
