Comfort Inn Grove City, Grove City

We went for a girls shopping weekend and spent 2 nights. The staff was very helpful & friendly. We could only get a smoking room on 3rd floor but it didn't smell like smoke at all and was quiet even though they were fully booked . There was some mud on the floor between the beds & cobwebs/dust-bunnies on the lamps that we noticed the second night even though the room had been cleaned. For free, the breakfast was pretty good although the seating is limited. Our biggest concern was the elevator. The 1st time we used the elevator we got stuck on the 2nd floor when we were going from the 3rd floor to the lobby on the 1st floor. We were able to get out & take the stairs. It seems the 1st floor button was not working properly & had to be pushed repeatedly to get it to work. Hopefully it has been repaired & inspected. Since it is difficult to book rooms in Grove City PA on short notice, you take what you can get. I would stay there again but would complain about things before checkout. And I would definitely ask about the condition of the elevator when I made my reservation. There was no compensation for the dirty room or being trapped in an elevator.
