The Lake House Bed & Breakfast, Inverness

The Lake House was impecabbly clean. My Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a weekend there and came to know Cathy Johnson, the owner and her former Husband, David. They were more than accomodating and helpful in every way. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort and enjoyment of the fine old home which is now a Bed and Breakfast. It was our first experience in a property of this nature, usually deferring to major hotel chains. It will not be our last such experience; and, certainly will not be our last visit to The Lake House. The rooms were very tastefully furnished; the many sitting areas made it feel like home, which indeed it was to us for those two days and nights. We felt comfortable anywhere in the home. We have never seen a facility so spotlessly clean and the efforts of Cathy and David are visible everywhere, both inside and outside on the spacious grounds. A lot of work has gone into making this a very fine facility and work is ongoing all the time to continue to improve the property.
