not the best experience

We had two rooms. One had a very distinct musty smell, and the bathroom obviously had smokers in it recently. Bathroom also had mildew around the base of the tub. We asked for adjoining rooms, but were told that was not possible after we arrived. They turned off the lights in the pool one hour before posted closing time. (maybe they still hadn't changed the time from daylight savings time, but that was a week ago) The breakfast bar did not have the items that were promised. They had no gravy, no omlettes, no bacon....etc. When they say they close at 9:30, that is no joke. Everything was out of there at 9:30 on the dot...couldn't even get a cup of coffee. The staff was just not friendly at all. We did not have $200.00 worth of fun!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Patrick, in Reservations, on the afternoon of June 26th, '07 gave us excellent directions to an important reception we were attending later that day. I was there with my cousin and her 13 yr. old daughter. Suite smelled fresh and could not have been cleaner. Enjoyed visiting with Herchal (sp?), in Reservations, when we checked out the next day. STAY AT LAQUINTA'S NEXT DOOR!!

BY FAR THE WORST HOLIDAY INN I'VE STAYED IN: -Room poorly lit -Very musty smelling and dusty -Large hole in sheet -Rips in sofa sleeper sheet and cover -Old green velvet cloth for sofa sleeper cover. (really wasn't a cover at all) -Poor breakfast -No towels/washcloths in room 1st night -No washcloths in room 2nd night Horrible for a suite!! LAQUINTA NEXT DOOR FOR $10 MORE: -Very well lit -Very clean and clean smelling -Adjoining sitting room w/separate entrance (King Suite) -Two bathrooms -Plenty of overstuffed chairs (3 to be exact) -Two desks w/comfortable chairs -Great breakfast DON'T DO HOLIDAY INN OF FRANKLIN!!

horrible, not worth the stay

We stayed in this hotel in the winter and it was hot and stuffy it was also a very small room. The room had bugs and the room was not worth the rate. The Baymont across the street has a better deal.
