Santa Fe Inn, Winnemucca

The desk clerks are very friendly and go above and beyond to help. No extra charges for children or pets! BIG rooms with dated style, but very comfortable. Quiet and clean (a big plus!). Reasonable prices compared to close hotels. I was happy to pay $5 more a night to stay here just because my family and I were able to move around our room without running into one another! The only downside was that their pool and hot tub were broken. If they had been working it would have just put them over the top in our book! We will definately stay with them again when we are in Winnemucca, NV. Hopefully the pool and hot tub are ready for us! lol :)

I have now stayed her three times this year - and like it! Cost is affordable, rooms are very quiet, love the refrigerator, the size of the rooms is great, very good continental breakfast, plenty of room to park, just wish the swimming pool was up and running, but this is a very nice place to stay! Friendly lobby staff, and I appreciate the fact that they recognize my return visits. We have used this location for a host hotel, and they treated all of us very well! Has replaced the Model T as my favorite location. The fact that they allow pets is a great bonus too!

I had stayed here as by chance-no other rooms in town What a gem hidden in the rocks. Room was spacious, staff very friendly and it was clean.AAA+

Went to town for a very BIG softball tournament & our other hotel decided to double the rates the day of, so @ the last minute we had to find another hotel. We walked in and the girl working was absolutely wonderful!!! She got us and our friends both rooms - for a VERY good rate. The rooms are bigger and nicer that most of your "upper" class hotels. If you ask me this hotel is "UPPER" class. It may not have the glitter and gold, but the rooms are big with everything you need, the pool & hot tub are nice and clean, & the employees are very nice & helpful. If you want a great place to stay - Stay here!!!!!

I can only say GREAT place to stay. Thats ALL.Site is asking me to add more comments but i dont know what else I can add other than saying one more time IT'S GREAT PLACE TO STAY / NO MORE / STAY HERE AND SEE IT FOR YOURSELF.

October 2006: Motel is located on central main street through town, easy to find when getting off the freeway. Everything was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Decoration was dated. The carpet was really old and looked shaggy, perhaps dirty. Didn't walk on it barefoot. Carpet creates extensive static electricity, watch out. Room had Cable TV, Bathrooms are very clean. The bathroom light comes on with a rather noisy fan. No way to leave light on without the noise. We stayed there on a cold winter night. Heater worked great. They serve free juice and danishes. We took some juice skipped the danishes. Overall, a great value, comfy bed, dated decoration and shaggy old carpet. Guys won't mind, but it ain't a place for a lady. I don't know what else is in town, I try another place next time, for my wife's sake.

Quiet -good price $ -market close- best it was DOG FRIENDLY-refrig/freezer very adequate size. Liked arrangement of spacious room; bed comfortable.Staff was friendly and helpful.

I've stayed at most of the places in Winnemucca and this is the best. The rooms are all big, in fact some are huge. It's always clean, everything is in fairly good condition, the wireless is quick, and it's not too noisy (thick cinderblock walls). The people at the front desk are friendly and the continental breakfast is available until 10 or 11 am. The rates are good, too.

We liked the accomodations. The room was much larger than average, with comfortable beds, and they take pets. We would definitely stay there again. Its a great travel value.
