Main Street Inn, Hilton Head Island

We liked the idea it was easy to find, the rooms were very clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. Everyone was a sweet as can be. The breakfast was outstanding, and loved being able to sit outside to eat. Everything was outstanding. We can't wait to come back. We loved the location the best.The pool was great as well as the hot tub. Room very clean,big and the bed very confortable. Dave and Ealine

We have been here five times beginning when the Inn first opened. Our latest visit was disappointing. There are signs everywhere that maintenance/upkeep TLC is missing: paint peeling, wood chipped, central A/C not working (noisy, temporary floor unit installed in room) etc. Worst of all is the "complimentary" breakfast - it used to be a truly continental style with breakfast meats, cheeses, fancy croissants, pastries, cereals, etc. Now it is no more than your typical Holiday Inn style motel genre with warming trays of ready mixed over-cooked eggs, dried out potatoes, day old pastries, etc. served in a room that screams out for some sound deadening features particularly on the chair and table legs. Come on Management! You could do so much better especially at those prices. On the plus side: room decor, furnishings, luxury touches in bath, front desk staff courtesies are outstanding.

This was a romantic, secluded and exceptionally attentive hotel. We were struck by the tranquility of the place nestled among the trees off of "main street" in Hilton Head. The name 'main street' is deceiving because there are no real traffic centers in the area! The hotel amenities were excellent - great linens, beautiful bathrooms, all beautifully appointed. The complimentary breakfast in the elegant dining room or outside terrace was delicious. The staff is quite accommodating - and, the detail of an actual room "key" was a nice touch. Highly recommend - our rate of $139 for a Sunday night was truly a steal. Recommend for a romantic getaway vs. families. Great place for a wedding.

The quiet location, beautiful rooms, excellent service, and delicious breakfast make this a perfect honeymoon, aniversary, or romantic getaway hotel. Can't wait to go back!

This is a great hotel off the busy street/beaches... A great place to Relax.. This is a small island.. so everything is a two minute drive..
