Great Hospitality

Very clean & comfortable desk clerks were very hospitable. When I discovered that I had brought the wrong charger for my phone the desk clerk had one sent up to the room. With the exception with one night clerk we had a great five days there. Talked to the very nice manager the morning that we were leaving and she took care of everything short of getting ride of the rude clerk.

Bogus Charges

Room was nasty, and cost 119 a night when I got my card statement it was 400 when I called they said it was a smoking charge, and I explained I do not smoke and do not like to be around smoke, out of all the Marriott hotel chains I have stayed in this has to be the biggest slap in the face I have ever had, I would never ever stay in this roach motel again and would never want anyone else to be ripped off like I was, the manager was very rude when I called about this

My favorite place to stay in this area

I travel to this area often to visit my grandsons. I am a Marriott rewards member and always get my requested upgrade to a king suite. The hotel is clean and well maintained. It was remodeled about 2 yrs ago, so the furnishings are updated and the roooms have been freshly painted with pretty colors (not the usual drab hotel white). The kids love the buffet breakfast. This is the closest hotel to my grandkids who live in Monroe. I have checked out other hotels in the area...they just aren't as clean as the Marriott.
