Worst hotel EVER!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/12/11
We were told that we would have our own balcony. When we got to our room we were on the 1st floor and the "balcony" was actually partly below ground level. Our heads were even with the roadway which was right next to our "balcony." If a vehicle had hit a rock and kicked it our direction it would have hit us in the head. Or if a vehehicle had run off the roadway it would have come right in our balcony door. Our "balcony" also faced a parking lot that was dug out of a hill that had an old building that was now a haunted house. Also when we got into our room it was nasty. There was some kind of dead beetle under the air conditioner, a dead spider on the toilet, and a dead spider on the bathtub. Then on our 2nd night there I killed a large spider walking across the floor. Lucky none of us were bit while we were staying there. We wondered how long it had been since our room had been cleaned. I could maybe understand one insect being missed on cleaning but there were 3 dead insects. 2 of which were in the bathroom. GROSS. We went to the front desk and told the person working the desk about the room and he said that spiders can get in anywhere they want and seemed not to care. Thanks for you noncaring attitude. We won't be coming back. They did have a pretty good free breakfast but while you were sitting there people from some of the different shows would harass you while you are eating and tell you to come see their show. Overall a bad experience and won't be going back to the Holiday Inn Express Suites in Branson.

No Return!`
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/10
Rate was $84.95 per night. I was ok with that as based on previous experiences with HIE. However, this room was a dump. No frig or microwave. Carpets and draperies dirty. Was in 100 series rooms near laundry. Employees in that area were loud and woke us up each morning with their laughter. Complained to front desk. Nothing changed. Location is good. Breakfast ok. Definitely not what a Holiday Inn Express is usually like. We wont be back!

Great service, location and very clean
The staff were very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. We left my son's night time stuffed animals there and although I was in a panic, I had no reason to be. The staff located the items and held them for us until we could get them picked up. We will be back for sure. Great location too, Walmart is right next door, don't even have to get out on 76 to get there. The hotel is almost right in the middle of the strip so you can go either direction for attractions.

LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/17/07
We had reservation made via AAA for Holiday Inn Express Suites and 3 shows in Branson for 3-days (weekend) in the first week of December 2007. Upon checkin the desk staff were really good but our problems began when we were assigned rooms next to the laundry in the 100 series on the first floor. We had friends with us and we were given rooms 102 and 104. Next to the laundry. Big mistake. The odors from laundry carried into the rooms and the hallway. Upon complaining to the desk staff we were given much better accomodation on the 4th floor. Although not really large the rooms were comfortable and surprisingly quiet given that our 4th floor rooms overlooked the front entrance parking lot and Shoney's Restaurant. The hotel's full continental breakfast was great and the ladies who run the breakfast are fabulous. Very clean and tasty food. Parking on flat area is limited although sloped parking is available in the rear of hotel and overload parking is permitted in the Shoney's parking lot near the hotel. The weather was terrible during our December visit and up close parking would have been more desirable for us seniors. We would never go to Branson in the fall/winter again. The 3 shows we attended were heavy into the Christmas theme as was their music. Knowing what we know now and the amount of hotel/motel available in Branson I think we would look around and not commit to advance reservations especially during the late fall/winter season.

disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/07
The service personnel were excellent but the smell while walking to our room was less than desirable. The carpets could be better maintained. Holiday Inn is a very good company but I did not enjoy staying at this hotel. The air conitioner was a little tempermental so half the night was spent trying to go to sleep in the heat. I always stay at Holiday Inns and this is the first time I have ever been so disappointed that I am looking for another hotel to stay at tonight.

Nice place to stay!
By Robbie, 7/22/07
We enoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express on Hwy. 76 in Branson. Nice clean rooms. The staff was extremely accomodating. The breakfast could use some improvement. Would suggest alternating the selections on a regular basis, for example, add biscuit gravy, etc. to menu. Would consider staying at this hotel again!

Didn't want to leave!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/24/06
I loved this hotel! It was clean and so comfortable. The color of the interior is a warm yellow tone, it just made me feel relaxed instantly. The rooms are nice and cozy. The area is great with Shoneys, TCBY and Walmart very close. The Breakfast was great with a large verity. The Service was awesome. It's a great family place to stay.

Great Location
By Charlie H, 8/21/05
This was a great hotel with a great location. We had a suite, for 4 nights, which was very roomy - has one room with pullout couch, table, microwave, refrigerator and full bath. The other room has a full bath with two comfortable queen beds. Both rooms have a TV and dresser and closet area. The free continental breakfast was great - lots to choose from. The pool was quite large and the hot tub is in a covered building right next to the pool - great for cool or rainy days. The only problem we had with the hotel was that our pull out couch sheets had not been changed prior to our arrival(there were still crumbs in the sheets) but they did arrive quickly with new sheets and blankets for us to use. Also, one day after sightseeing for quite a while we came back to our room to find the door still propped open - we are assuming the maid did this and forgot to close it when she was done. Other than that I would recommend it.

Very Nice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/24/05
We arrived at the hotel at 4:30pm and the room was not yet ready for us. Then we went out to eat supper and came back at 6:00pm and the room was still not ready. The pool was nice and big and I enjoyed that the hotel was right on the strip. The hot tub was not as clean as it should be. What I liked about the suite was that between the two rooms was a pull out door. The sofa bed was very nice. I loved the mini kitchen. The pool was supposed to close at 10:00pm but there was still several people in the pool at 10:30pm. It was hard to sleep because people were screaming. The staff was friendly and courteous. The bathroom was one of the best parts. It was very big and nice. I also liked the breakfast bar. The food was very good. I would definitley come back. It was one of the best hotels I have been to.

Enjoyable experience
By Victoria, 5/25/05
I liked the fact that it was conveniently located to major attractions and was reasonably priced. The continental breakfast was a bonus and the service was wonderful.
