i had one of my best vacation ever. I will go back there for sure.excellent food, excellent stay, peacefull places. Did you say fun? Go experience the real fun. I could not believe how much these people know about the us and how friendly they are. vacation is really affordable. For my 2 weeks vacation there, i spent only $.500.00 and came back with a lot of gifts . my first stop was tunis, the capitol city, a city of 3 millions people always ready to welcome their 15 millions tourists every year. Attractions,zoo,museums,sports field, bars and clubs, hotels of all kind, shopping malls & centers are all over the places: les souks(markets) are very famous,affordable and very animated. Now, carthage the oldest culture and town in north africa. Home for the precidency of the republic has an aquarium, amphitheatre, cathedral of st louis and the gorgeous town of sidi bou sais or sidi bou said hills where every bldg, house or walls are painted with the color of the town: blue sky and white. Don't miss to visit " the ruines " historic sites in carthage byrsa hills,old from the romans era. Soccer, more likely football there is very famous. I did notice that tunisia has a very good soccer team. Tunisia won the last african champion league cup. They are hosting the final tournament of the handball worldcup, january,2005. The weather was assume very comparable to california. The sea water is so clear that you can read your own lips through. At my hotel, we had a tours buses to take you to all places to visit any site all over the country. They are very confortable with air condition and reserved to the tourists. English language is very spoken there with an accent but understandable, most of local population speak arabic, french. Italian, german, and spanich as well. well. I am sure i am missing something. Hey it worths it twice my money. i recommand to everyone to visit that place. thanks for reading my review.
