NEVER EVER AGAIN
By tam, 05/18/09
This definitely has been one of the most unpleasant experiences for my spouse and I. All we can figure out is that we were younger than the hosts seem to be comfortable with. We are in our early 30's, but were treated as their children along with our 3 year old. Bob even let us know that he expected anyone younger than him to call him "Mr. Bob". He even has an arcade in town with "Mr. Bob" plastered on the outside of it that he claims is making no money, he only keeps it open to "teach the younger generation respect". His words, not mine. Now, I need to preface this: We paid for a three night stay and a 2 day Customized tour to our liking, with lunch provided. I must admit that we did arrive later than check in, but did notify Robin about this issue by phone and explained why were going to arrive so late. Upon said arrival both Robin and Bob seemed agitated about it being so late. The first morning we awoke early to get a good start despite our late arrival the night before. Breakfast was prepared for us, but no questions were asked about what was liked buy us or our 3 year old. Our little one had asked for bacon, this seemed to be agitating to our hosts as well, as they had prepared sausage which our little one does not like. We took it in stride and ate what was liked and none of the other......This issue came up later that morning when all of us were so hungry we had to start eating the snacks that WE had thankfully packed, of which Bob gladly ate with us with no thanks. Our tour was not even close to customized........I would not call driving us around on the standard roads that we could have driven ourselves and showing us old pictures of what Yellowstone used to look like very CUSTOMIZED. Both days of our PAID tour were like this. We could have bought a book on Yellowstone and gotten a BETTER experience MUCH MUCH cheaper without feeling as if we were being a nuisance by asking if we could stop and take a picture. While at Old Faithful Bob was told that we would like to see it go off, this seemed to be taken by him as if we were just an annoyance to him. We didn't once feel like this was OUR tour but just one of those going through the motions type of tours, with no room for actual sightseeing involved. The first day MY SPOUSE AND I paid for OUR lunch at a fastfood place inside the park (which was supposed to be provided with the tour package) and Bob bought a hot dog for our little one. The second day was BY FAR worse than the first. This was by far the worst money ever spent (close to $1000). If we were in their position we would treat our clients much better than this no matter what the age, race, or gender. Also, the two restaurants they suggested for us both nights were HORRIBLE! One Italian place and a home town 24 hr style restaurant. We were very sick from these in the days following this portion of our trip. By the way, on the day of our departure they were much nicer- to the older couple that had arrived the night before.

Great Friendly Place To "Bed Down For The Night"
By Mark, 03/05/06
Our Hosts Robin, Bob and Alex were fantastic. They made us feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable and pleasantly decorated without being overdone. Our bed was comfortable and we had no problem falling into a restful slumber in the evenings. They did some of the small things that you would not get at motel, that made our stay even more than pleasant. Although we found the people of Cody pleasant to deal with on a whole. So not only can we reccomend "Robin's Nest" as a place to stay, but the town of Cody it's self is worth a look. So take some time to stop and smell Robin's breakfast in the morn'n and discover the real beuty of the area, it's people.

Great location to stay in Cody
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/05
Enjoyed the hammock the most. Far enough from the noise of downtown, but close enough to get where ever we wanted. The museums at the Buffalo Bill were awesome. The rodeo was fun. So much to do and a great location at which to stay. Breakfasts kept us full until dinner and the Berry's recommended some wonderful restaurants.

We had loads of fun
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/04
This location was perfect for us! We could walk to anything or ride the town shuttle for only $2 for all day. The 5 museums were world class and the carriage ride was so relaxing. We took the Trolley tour and had no idea there was so much to do in Cody. We will return with the rest of our families and make a week of it next time.
