Embassy Suites Tampa - USF/Near Busch Gardens, Tampa

I was sitting in my car at the hotel with the engine running about two feet from a brick wall. While my wife checked in. On his way to another car the bellhop was two lazy to go around my car and didn�t ask me to move my car. He squeezed the cart through the wall and my car and smashes into my car. The whole car rocked. He scurried off as I got out of the car, to inspect t, not saying a word to the bellhop. He then yells across the lot that he did not hit into my car while I was inspecting it. I yelled back and said yes you did the whole car rocked. He then puffed up and stomped around, I asked him what he was doing he said he was trying to restrain himself from attacking me. I went and told the desk clerk and management. I told them that the guy hit my car, yelled at me across the lot and threatened me but they didn�t care. This was an anniversary present for my wife, and an expensive hotel, I am very sorry I went to this hotel. Please, Please don�t go here the service is horrible, I have never been treated so badly by a business in my life.

We were there over 4th of July. It is a great hotel and very spacious. They have a cook to order breakfast and a happy hour with finger foods that come with your room. Very nice.

I gave this hotel 5 stars, because it was a top-notch facility. The building and grounds were mostly well-cared for; the layout of the place was great. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The made-to-order breakfast in the morning was a great way to start off the day. My one complaint would be that there were some small spots of mildew on the shower wall. I'm sorry, but for $160 a night, the shower walls ought to be mildew-free. Otherwise, a great place to spend the night.

We liked the overall stay. The staff were pleasant and accomodating and the free breakfast buffet and open bar were a great extra. It was well kept and clean. Few opportunities for improvement: 1. Seemed to have to wait forever for the elevators, one of three was not working and it was a very busy weekend. 2. Sheets on the bed were coarse, no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. 3. The staff in the breakfast buffet not only didn't remove dirty plates from the table I was eating at, but actually brought and left more!

I booked a room at this hotel approximately three months before I was to arrive. At the time I asked if they had a courtesy suttle to the airport-they confirmed they did. This is the reason I booked at this hotel. Upon arriving I was told they did not have a shuttle and that this would cost me another $40 to get a cab to the airport. We arrived at approximatley 12:00 on March 5th. Our room was not ready so we decided to store our luggage and head to Busch Gardens for the day. When we arrived back at approximatley 6:00 we were told they did not have any non-smoking rooms left with 2 beds. They were willing to give us a non-smoking room with a pull out couch(but we all know how comfortable that is)I explained that I had booked this (non-smoking room) three months in advance and did have a confirmation number. They told us we could stay in the smoking room for one night and then move to a non-smoking for the 2nd night. This was unexceptable as we did not want to waist time moving. As we stated we were checked in at 12:00 and the rooms were not ready yet so was a non-smoking room not saved for us as it is what we booked threee months in advance. We were very unhappy with our stay in your hotel as we are both sensitive to smoke. I feel that if someone reserves a non-smoking room and has a confirmation number to prove this they should have the room they originally booked without question, I feel some compensation is in order pverroche@cogeco.ca

Front desk service was rude at check in and check out. Rooms were very out dated. The GM should be running taco bells not hotels. Do not stay here.

Confusion on wether the room was pre paid. Hotel said they didn't take pre payments. Staff was very polite and helpful.

I really liked the service, they had great customer service, the hotel room was clean and the breakfast in the morning was very good. I would definitely stay at this hotel again

The hotel was very nice and clean. It is close to everything, Busch Gardens, USF, Museum of Science and Industry, downtown, Channelside. They have a free happyhour from 5:30 to 7:30 every night, also have a free gourmet breakfast every morning. I'm not talking about a continental breakfast. This is a made to order omlet style breakfast.

My stay at the Embassy Suites was excellent. The room was clean and service was great. The pool was very clean and a nice size. Everybody was very helpful and the shuttle worked out great to Busch Gardens. Would defintely stay there again.
