Great hotel

This hotel is so nice inside. The rooms have a nice spacious feel. Even my mother, who is claustrophobic and very uncomfortable in most hotels, felt comfortable here. It was clean and had a nice fitness facility. It had a good continental breakfast, as well as a nice little bar where you could buy a sandwich or dessert. It was a great price for such a nice hotel. There's a bunch of shops nearby, including a mall that's about 2 minutes away. There are also quite a few options for dining outside of the hotel. I'd definitely stay again.

two star price - four star accomodations

What a great find! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel was spotless! (Kudos to the cleaning staff) . We enjoyed a great, current movie in HD, the large screen was just like being home. The all night food availablitly was convenient. The pool and pool room were both very comfortable. The shower water was hot, and pressure was good, at least on the third floor. On the down side, the bed was a little hard, I could ses a problem for an exented stay. The floor we were on was also accomodating about 100 kids. This proved to be problematic, but a quiet word with the front desk staff, and that was the last we heard of the children. The other down side, was just one elevator bay with two elevators, since it is only 6 floors we easily took the stairs. We were also concenrned with the bills being slipped under the door, but a phone call to the hotel, made them aware of my unease, and the clerk confirmed my request at check in and my bill was waiting for me at the desk on check out day. We will definitely use this hotel for future trips to Pittsburgh or the next time we fly out of PIT.

Booked here at first by mistake

Booked here at first by mistake, thinking it was the Hyatt right at the airport. Really glad we came here instead. Location is very convenient for airport and downtown Pittsburgh. Immediate area has terrific shopping and many good restaurants. Hotel is newly redone and beautiful. Rooms are spacious, with separate area with pull-out couch, desk and mini-bar. Very friendly, helpful staff. Pool is fairly large, but view outside of it is light industrial. Very good breakfast included, and very good food is available for purchase 24/7. Large plasma TV in room, and lots of movies to pick from. We would definitely come again.

The location was great. The people were super friendly. The room was very big and everythng was clean. Everything was fabulous in the summer of 2006.

wasn't to great

The rooms aren't that big and don't depend on service from the people that work there. The breakfast's where good however, and if you're only going to be in Pittsburgh for a few days then this hotel may be the right one for you as it's not to expensive.
