Went after upgrade and carpeting was great, RESTROOM was Fabulous & that's the Biggest Issue I have when staying somewhere. I loved that it was all redone and had excellent clean tile and a bit larger shower. Pool is not as big, but i enjoyed it as well as the hot tub or whichever it is. Great breakfast with waffles shaped of Texas. Hate going back to Lubbock but will return and enjoy the quietness on the edge of town.
This was the nicest Days Inn I have found in a long time. Everything was very nice; comfortable beds and pillows, good breakfast, etc. The only thing is an inside pool and we stayed on a Friday night so there were children/teenagers at pool until late. Our room was an inside room and the atrium echoed. I might ask for an outside room in the summer time.
It was quiet. The rates were GREAT! It was clean, comfortable, and they were extremely accomadating for our large group on short notice. We got more than our money's worth, and will certainly be staying there again.
The staff were quite pleasant, and polite. The hotel itself was run down, and in need of repair. My family and I had 3 rooms -- in one of the rooms, the bathtub was really moldy. The carpeting throughout looked very worn, and in need of major repairs. The swimming pool was pretty small -- especially if you had more than 5 persons in it at a time.
Will never stay here again. Called their 1-800 number to reserve and told me it was one of the nicest hotels in Lubbock. Not until I checked in did I see it was not like I was told. Horrible rooms, Crappy service, and underrated breakfast. Save yourself and stay elsewhere.
