Microtel Inn and Suites Charlotte Rock Hill, Rock Hill

I normally do not write about places but I felt that people needed to know about the Microtel. I do business in Rock Hill area and have stayed at different places but I keep coming back to the Microtel. The staff makes me feel like home every time I come back. When I saw the sign for Microtel Inn & Suites I asked my self what kind of place is this like most people out there so I gave them a try and I am sure glad I did. Now I found the best place to stay rock hill. I found out that Microtel is part of Wyndham Hotel Group and now I can use my Wyndham rewards card. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and I like the dream well bedding which has a extra pillow and is triple sheeted and does not have the old dirty style bed spread. They offer free wired/wireless internet, micro/fridge, continental breakfast & free long distance(US) for all my business needs. They have all amenities as the higher end places but for a cheaper price. I like that this place is interior and not exterior like the other economy places. A lot of fast food & national restaurants nearby. Easy access to I-77. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rock Hill or Charlotte.

Our room was clean and adequate in size. I liked the layout with the room divider which housed a sink, microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. A great touch. The bathroom was clean but showed it's age and could use a bit of tile and grout work. Small details that would make a huge difference. The staff was warm and friendly upon check in. But by the end of the evening, after over 5 (yes, five) hours of requesting our roll away bed (which we reserved two weeks prior to our arrival), we were not happy. We ended up never getting one at all and had a member of our party having to sleep on the floor. Oh.. and did I mention, we had to ASK for extra pillows and blankets for him? They weren't even offered to us. The evening staff at the front desk was very unapologetic about the entire situation which only made the situation worse. She was a poor refelection of the motel.

Traveling on business. I received an excellent rate for a 4 night stay. I will be traveling again next week and will certainly stay there again. Very clean! Friendly staff! Different sized rooms to fit your needs and price range. The lowest price rooms (which I use) are small, but more than adequate for a business traveler. Even the lowest price rooms have a microwave and refrigerator. They even had free long distance calling!!!

I enjoyed the stay there clean rooms and comforatable stay, The amenties they had a lot for bangs for the bucks... Recommend this hotel,, Hotel staff very friendly. I came with my family and they all enjoy their stay. My son enjoyed working out at the gold gym with the hotel passes for the weekend. Close to restaurant and Carowinds Theme Parks
