Holiday Inn Hotel Suites Bristol, Bristol

We are Priority Club Platinum members and stayed using points. Upon arrival, we called the front desk to notify of TV not working. No maintenance ever came or did they offer another room. Upon check out, we requested a refund of our points and Mitch said he would handle. Spoke to manager, Kimberly Hurd twice and Sarah once and guess what? They handled this the same way they handled the outage of our TV-no results. This place is terrible and don't waste your time or money. If this is how they handle their preferred guests-better to stay at another place.

I had the opportunity to stay there from October 2009 thru March 2010. The hotel has excellent service and hospitality. The staff is very family oriented and always were courteous when a request was made. I would recommend this hotel to all.

After reading good reviews about this hotel, I chose to stay there on a trip to Bristol. The trip was to visit the college that my daughter will soon be attending. Everything was fine until we laid in the beds. After being in the beds for a while, my daughter and I felt as though something was biting us. We tore the beds apart and found that they were saturated with bed bugs. We immediately left the room and went to the front desk to inform someone. Although we did get our money back, the hotel receptionist refused to have anyone come up and look at the room and it's condition; he showed no signs of caring about the situation whatsoever. Needless to say, my daughter and I had to drive 6 hours back home, and missed her college orientation. I had to through away many things that I brought to the hotel with me, and steam clean my entire car. I do not want this to happen to anyone else, so I strongly advise anyone from staying there. This hotel was recommended by the college, so to all perspective students visiting the school, don't stay at Holiday Inn.

Earlier this year (2007) I came to this hotel for a conference with my job. The drive (from Virginia Beach) was beautiful. The mountains are spectacular. I decided to come back in July with my husband for our anniversary just to get away. The hotel is located right off the highway and surrounded by plenty of eateries. We enjoyed the lounge one evening, which had a piano player/singer. The rooms were clean. The swimming pool was relaxing. We drove into Tennessee too. It's a really nice hotel. We stayed for three nights.
