Ramada Ltd South I 80, Joliet

The front clerk at 12pm was rude, obnoxious and told me to go away until 3pm. She wouldn't confirm my reservation, stated it wasn't there to come back later. Her tone and mannerism were, to put quite bluntly ghetto. The housekeeping service was adequate. I will never ever return to this hotel nor will I recommend it to any one. This is not the standard that the Ramada Inns that I stayed in in the past.

the staff was rude. hairs everywhere. the microwave was dirty. were crumbs on the floor. there were burns on the comforter. i wouldn't stay here again.

I loved the location of this place. There are places to eat all around the area. There is a Bar right across the street and the track is close as well. There was always something to do.(The casinos are right there are well.) I actually took my family here and my kids had a great time as well. Overall A great place for the money that you pay.

Upon arrival, the desk clerk had difficulty checking us in due to the prepaid status of the resevervation. We did finally get checked in, but it did not instill a feeling of confidence. The atmosphere, in general left us with a feeling of insecurity. We later learned there was no management or maintenance employees on the premesis at night or on the weekend (we stayed thur.-sunday). Bathroom facilities worked, but not at optimum. 1st day, room was not made up. Housekeeping placed a do not disturb sign on our door and left a back of towels at the door. We talked to the desk clerk (this was Friday night) and she said she would leave a message for the manager. We followed up on Saturday Morning and that desk clerk informed us there would the manager would not be in until Monday(after we would be gone) Again this just added to the feeling of insecurity. It really left us wondering what would have happened at night or on the weekend had there been an emergency.
