Best Kept Secret for a Norwalk Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/12/11
Attended a recent funeral in the Norwalk area and the locals recommended this hotel. Our group utilized 4 rooms for two nights. The service and comfort levels were excellent. The rooms/carpets were clean, the sinks drained, the water pressure was great, the bathroom lighting was good, the beds=comfortable, TV/Internet service was as promised, and breakfast was better than expected. Furthermore - the hotel is situated perpendicular to SR 250 - so the traffic noise was non-existant. The picture on the web reflects the front of the hotel which houses a large pool and whirlpool area. It presents a most inviting area of relaxation - wish we had brought a suit - very attractive setting with knotty pine cathedral ceilings and heated pool to 82 deg. The building was well maintained. BEST OF ALL was the management's attention/professionalism toward our requests/ needs. Being one who generally stays at the Mariott hotel line where available - I must say - this Best Western fulfilled everything that we needed. If you wish a larger breakfast dining experience than 'Continental' has to offer - immediately across the street is a Bob Evans Restaurant. To top things off - the price was right! Don't know what they'll charge for the top of the tourist season for Cedar Point - but in January - take your swim trunks and enjoy a relaxing winter interlude!!
