BEWARE DO NOT STAY HERE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/27/09
This place smelt of must....NO pool even though months in advance I called noting that the pool was closed, the man I spoke with assured me it would be ready for our stay in July as we were going to a Monster Truck event in the area...um...there probably hasn't been a pool here ever. This ruined the whole plan of going somewhere we do not know and wasting time for the night in the pool concept entirely. My kids were very disappointed. Then the beds were the hardest things and pillows sucked. I had a discount card from a Benefits program I am in that I told the guy on the phone months in advance I had and it gave me 10% off. He said to bring it. I did. The woman at the desk was clueless and told me I'd have to speak with a manager, frankly I declined after a long day of driving, (couldn't wait to hit the pool), I didn't feel it was the hassle for a few bucks saved. The continental breakfast was a joke. The didn't even have fruit available like other places I've stayed. They simply had cornflakes, milk they bought at the store next door in a little fridge, some english muffins. Thank god for Dunkin Donuts next door!!!! I should of read these reviews before hand because I'd pay the few extra gas mileage to stay anywhere but here!!!

Forget about it!
By Mel, 7/20/08
If I was CEO of Rodeway Inns, I would take this off the market. 1st-i booked 2 rooms for my family-thinking they could enjoy the outdoor pool (advertised) while I was biking. The pool hasn't been working for, and I quote the front desk receptionist " at least 2 years since I've been here-maybe longer"-then, when we asked about places to eat-she had no ideas-nothing except the truck stop where this motel was located. Even though the price was somewhat reasonable-it was over priced given that the guests get nothing-no pool-dated rooms with shower stalls I have never seen before (it's like being inside an exremely large golf ball-dimples included) Stay away.

If I wasn't exhausted I'd leave
By Pamela H, 1/1/08
It was like 4am and my husband and I had to stop somewhere for the night. Just our luck we happen to stop at this place. By the time we realized how horrible it was we were already paid and couldn't stand anylonger. The room the gave us at first was suppose to be non smoking, but reeked of cigeretts. They changed our room to another room on the 3rd floor and the hotel sink wouldn't drain. The new room they gave us was overrun with the stench of cleaning products. The hotel lobby reeks of stale cigeretts. The room as listed online by other reviewers was almost twice as much. I've gone other hotels that were cheaper but a lot better. Before going to bed I asked my husband to prop a chair in front of the door. Additional the hot water was brown. The rooms were ice cold, they don't heat them before they are used they turn the heat off, so the first hour in the hotel room we were freezing.

Use only if you are looking for any port in a storm.
By paulb, 9/22/06
Pretty much a ditto from other negatives reported. The rates change faster than lightening. Know ones knows anything. Nothing works well. Phone system for outbound calls, especially local, does not work. (Can't make local calls to most exchanges and they don't know why, so they say.) I had to keep asking why this place was worth the rate. Only answer was as my title suggests. I was tired. This placed drags down Choice Hotels reputation.

Dirty and run down
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/9/06
To say the property was dirty and run down would be a compliment. If you are seeking adventure, then a stay here would be the equivalent of a night in a Bangladesh slum, the place reeks of curry, is dirty and nothing works.

Look real hard for a place elsewhere
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/20/05
This was a hotel for truckers. Except the truckers would rather sleep in their trucks. Terrible service. Unkept rooms. Only good thing I could say about the place was the privacy. That was because there was no one else there.
