Ambassador Hotel, Port of Spain

speaking positively the hotel has a well positioned pool and deck. The water was clean and it was a pleasure to swim in it. However, because the hotel was so lifeless it was a bit boring to be at the pool without any other guests. There are nice views from the hotel rooms facing west or whatever. where the hotel can improve is the level of staff service. for the most part, most staff had a blase attitude and idid not appear to enjoy their jobs or speaking to guests. the rooms were average in cleanliness. The quality of the furniture could be improved. Overall for the amount of money the room cost, the experiance was not that positive. it was also be nice if the hotel staff were more helpful.
