Loved It!

We had a great time at Hyatt Place Franklin/Cool Springs! The hotel is very close to the mall, only about 2 minutes away. It is very nice inside and out. The only dislike I have was that the heating system in our room was very loud and we had to turn it off to be able to go to sleep and just use extra blankets. The free breakfast was alright but there wasn't much to choose from, however, you can purchase other food items for an additional cost that were very good. The room was extremely clean as well as the bathroom. The staff was nice and friendly. We arrived a few hours before check in and the let us go ahead to the room. Check out is not until 12 noon, so you have time to sleep in if you prefer. We loved the huge plasma hd tv which is present in every room. We will definitely be returning to this hotel on our next visit to the Cool Springs area.
 
 
 
 
 
Heating System So loud - kept Us Awake!

we stayed 1 night and will never go back. The room was nice, internet friendly, HD television nice but the heating system was a nightmare!. It was always to hot and if you turned it down it came off and on to often and was as loud as any tornado could sound. It came on and off every minute to 2 minutes, ran for about 30 seconds, stayed off 30 seconds then would come on again...this went on until we found a way to turn the unit off by a switch underneath it and then it continued to come on and off!! We were give a small credit on our bill for the lost sleep suffered but will not go back! The clerk said he understood what we had gone through because he once had to stay in one of the rooms one night!
 
 
 
 
 
Never Again!

This hotel was horrific!!! We stayed here when it was Amerisuites and actually liked it, but that was not the case this time around. The majority of the staff was less than hospitable. There was one person at the front desk who was very nice. The rest of them seemed like they hated their jobs. The housekeeping department leaves much to be desired. The bathroom floor was never cleaned during our five day stay. The room was dusty and there were a couple of days when the garbage was not emptied. Used towels were not removed. The room smelled musty and the air conditioning unit was so loud that it kept us up most of the night. Needless to say, this is not somewhere that we will be staying again.

Nice Hotel

This hotel was really nice. When we stayed here everything was wonderful and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! And when we stayed they had a Popcorn Maker out in the lobby every day which the kids really loved. The pool was kept very clean, and the fitness center was nice, but small. Beautiful, however....

This place was great. The service was fantastic, the room was neat. The location was beautiful and safe, my big worry renting site unseen, however the BED was HORRIBLE. The worst I have ever been on. The first night was ok, but the second night springs were in my shoulder, hip, knee. It was bad! I would stay agian, if they can get a new bed!!!
 
 
 
 
 
WON'T GO BACK!

I would never return to this property. When we arrived we were given a room (not the type we booked)we went into the room and my daughter found a man doing caulking in the bathroom. We then had to go back down get a differnt room, the bed covers smelled. We went out the next day putting a Do Not Disturb on the door well this didn't stop anyone. The housekeeper went into our room moved stuff and when I went down to report this I was told "sorry she doesn't read or speak english". I told the Assistant manager then maybe you shouldn't hire them or you need to train them better and she stated that "We have to hire what we can get because AMERICANS don't want to work".
 
 
 
 
 
Terrible Experience

Without a doubt this was one of the worst hotels I've eve stayed in. The room smelled terrible, they do not have room service and the hallways are dimly lit. If you want a great hotel, stay at Embassy Suites, NOT Amerisuites. The only reason I gave them a Poor and not "Awful" is that they do have a complimentary breakfast that is not half bad. Everything else in the stay was dreadful.
