Hampton Inn Cincinnati Riverfront, Covington

I just love the Place "Reanna" and her people are the best warm,understanding and ready to help you at any time. Kenny in maintenance is a stand out person one of a kind a man that will go out of his way fore you. Reanna is the best that management has to offer good with people loving and warm makes you feel at home and to me thats were it's at for me wen i'm away form home. I'll be back to stay with (Reanna) one day. Thank you for making stay so great.

What a great STAFF this hotel has. They go the distance for everyone! Always have a smile and seem to deal with ANGRY people very well. I don't envy them for the job they do. Customers can be wrong...

Check-in was a breeze. The room was very nice and clean. Bus stop was very close to the hotel, allowing us to travel to Newport on the Levyon Saturday, and the Bengals game on Sunday. Major benefit to avoid traffic and exorbitant parking prices in the city. I'm disappointed to see the scathing reviews here. Our experience was 90% positive. Scewed only because of a false alarm fire, rousing us at 6AM. We got no direction from hotel staff as to what we should do. Stair door on the 5th floor was locked so we had to take the elevator down. Tragic if the fire was real! I am contacting corporate regarding their fire procedure, but as far as our stay there, nothing but good to say. A previous reviewer mentioned the two liquor stores in the parking lot! We raised eyebrows at this as well, but zero problems there!

I stayed here in February 2010 for 3 nights on business during a bad snowstorm; the staff was very helpful,even offering to clean our cars of snow; restaurant locations and directions were given on check inn; rooms have been recently updated and were great; breakfast is better than most hamptons I have been in; going back for business again; would highly recommend

The Hotel staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The room was nice and very clean. We had one problem with the bathroom ceiling leaking water but when the front desk staff was notified, our room was switched immediately and the new room keys were hand-delivered to us. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious!

Room was clean and staff were extremely nice!!! Yes, it isn't close to everything but for the price compared to others I can drive or ride the shuttle. Free breakfast was awesome. Lots to choose from. Eggs, fruit, bagels, & biscuits with gravy. Would stay there again.

The location was misrepresented. We said we wanted a riverview - only if you stood on one foot and leaned way over - and were able to look past the dumpster- yucky view. Also, it's really off the beaten path - if you're here for vacation, you are away from the riverfront -- way down past the last bridge. Also, the shuttle no longer stops at the hotel - you have to walk past the TWO liquor stores in the parking lot to get to the onstreet bus stop (we waited 20 minutes only to go back inside to requeset dollar bills - we were irked the desk girl had not already suggested this as she knew we were taking the shuttle. No placed to eat without getting in your car or on the bus. The pool was nice.

The rooms are average only not as clean....needs a micro-fridge. The towels were more gray than white. The echo of the untidy pool area is awful.....I would not waste my time again

The name of the hotel misrepresents its location. No such thing as Riverfront there to view...more accurate would be "hillside". Cost $152 per night unlike the listed high end of $139. The hotel staff was helpful and the room was clean. Coffee pot was in the bathroom??? Definitely can stay elsewhere with similar accomodations with river view for less money.
