Not the best

Came here for a getaway weekend for my mom 65th birthday. The first room we went into had a musky smell. I called immediately and she blamed the smell on the hurricane. She switched us to a suite with a king size bed on the first floor but had the same smell, so on the third try we got a room on the 2nd floor. No smell but very outdated. Had microwave (hard closing the door), living room area, very large bathroom and jacuzzi tub, a fridge that has never been defrosted (I almost ripped it open and couldn't close it back because of the ice. The curtains were faded, carpets looked like they had water stains in certain areas (even in the hallways), I was scared to sit in the sofa (the arms looked very dark), cobwebs, the remote for the tv's were screwy (the remote in the living room turned on the tv in the bedroom because the remote in the bedroom didnt turn the channels, but didnt turn on the tv in the bedroom...go figure), you could see the bad caulking job in certain areas of the bathroom, didn't like that there was no closet but an armoire to hang our clothes, the elevator smelled like urine, and not the greatest selection for the breakfast. The staff was friendly and accommodating when I wanted another room. Overall experience was fair but will look at another hotel next time we visit Dover.
