3 star hotel service and horrible room service

The hotel by itself is very beautiful; it's got an amazing beach, location and architecture. However, the service was terrible. Especially I was shocked by the room service! On the first day we arrived, I decided to use a jacuzzi in our room and I was dissapointed by finding someones hair all over of the tub. Also, I found numerous hair on the countertop in the bathroom and they stayed there for the entire week. So I assume the cleaner was just changing the towel, shampoos and fixing up the bed but didn't bother to clean the place. On top of that, the resort claim that they have a purofied water. I came back home, and I was sick for 1 week and I had to attend the hospital twice. I was diagnozed with Salmonella. So here we go - I am not sure how clean the water in that hotel is. I've never been this sick in my entire life. Also, I still don't understand how the "5 star" hotel can allow sales people to walk around their beach and continuously bother visitor with their sales. It was horrible!! Same people would ask me about 10 time a days whether I want to buy something or not and then the next day the would do it again. In addition, the sales people for time share are horrible there!!! Now when I look at this vacation back, I think I would be better off going to Hawaii. So please don't make the same mistake!
